3. Classic EADGBE tuning template and variable pitch selection between 415 and 460 Hz and double sensitivity for the professional classic guitar player.

  • Best App For Guitar Tuning!!!

    By redbird45 (Pcmac user)

Thank you very much for releasing it. My guitar sounds better than it ever has! I have explained my review in a previously free version of this app. This software applies a stretch tuning technique to the guitar to correct for natural inharmonicity between a played string and each successive harmonic. It will make all of your intervals sound better through the successive harmonics of each vibrating element. This has been mentioned elsewhere but it since guitarists rarely do it I think it should be repeated: MUTE the idle strings when tuning with this app. Since the software is listening to the harmonics of the string being tuned, the resonance from other strings could throw it off. Also someone mentioned it being hard to tune the upper registers. I had the same problem with my nylon Yamaha. The trick is to watch the dB meter and pluck the string every time it gets close to the bottom. Keep the mic close to the soundhole or use an external condenser mic with adjustable gain. If you use this app correctly, then do some chordwork and interval playing, you WILL notice an improvement in the sound of your guitar.
  • More work, better sound

    By pmalb (Pcmac user)

It's expensive and it takes some getting used to (particularly remembering that you have to select the string you are tuning), but the results are worth the expense and the effort. My guitars sound better, chords in particular sound more harmonically full and rich. Works best if your guitar has good intonation and good, smooth tuning machines, but I suppose that is true of any tuning system.

I can't believe how consistently good my guitar sounds using this tuner.
