Software Features and Description

1. InerTrak for iPhone and iPad, based on the award-winning desktop InerTrak, is a time-tracking tool for designers, contract workers, lawyers, or anyone who works on multiple projects on an hourly basis.

2. You can use InerTrak on your iPhone to keep track of time worked in the field or when away from your desk.

3. Each project is associated with a client, and includes an hourly rate (either set automatically from the client's rate, or set individually) which is used to automatically calculate the monetary value of time worked.

4. It automatically keeps track of the time you spend on different projects thorughout the day; all you do is click to start and stop the timer.

5. A summary view shows the totals of each project -- the total time and money, billed time and money, and unbilled time and money.

6. A detail view of each project shows the daily totals of both time and money, with the ability to check off days as they are billed.

7. Then, with a couple of button clicks, copy that data to the desktop InerTrak and take advantage of more advanced reporting capabilities, print timecards or invoices, etc.

8. Time values can be displayed in a variety of formats: hours minutes and seconds; hours and tenths of an hour; hours and sixths of an hour; hours and quarters of an hour; even hours and hundredths of an hour.

9. o The granularity of time is a day; it keeps track of the total time that you spend on any Project on each day.

10. Important: Data synchronizing requires a wireless network accessible by both your iPhone/iPad and your desktop/laptop computer running InerTrak (version 3.4 or higher).

Download and install the InerTrak app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using InerTrak on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "InerTrak"
The search will reveal the InerTrak app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once InerTrak is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including InerTrak.
Now enjoy InerTrak on PC.

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing InerTrak:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "InerTrak" » Click "Install" to install InerTrak

Worth it! (updated with suggestion)

This application does exactly as promised: allows the user to easily create clients, create multiple projects within clients, and accurately keep track of time spent on a particular project. The timer stops and starts with a simple tap of the clock, and the timer continues to run even if you are using other applications on the iPhone. As for no free trial, I was a little hesitant as well, but this is a reputable company that has time tracking software for both PC and Macintosh platforms. There are 30-day free trials there, so give those a go to see how they work. The iPhone app is not much different. I'm glad I made the purchase and will definitely continue to use this application. Well done! UPDATE: I continue to be extremely pleased with the functionality of this application. I have one suggestion though. When keeping track of time in anything but hours/minutes/seconds, it would still be useful to see the hours/minutes/seconds breakdown. Occasionally, I may forget to start/stop a timer, and it would be useful to be able to turn it back by a specific number of minutes, but this isn't possible to do accurately if the time tracking is maintained in a different format without switching it to back to hours/minutes/seconds first.

I spent quite awhile trying to pick which time tracking app to purchase. My needs, clients, multiple projects per client, and the ability to manually enter time (stop watch is nice, but usually not practical in real world situations). While the $20 price tag had me looking closely at the other options, most of the other (cheaper) options did not allow for manual entry (and often other issues.) so, I bit the bullet and spent a twenty. I am very happy. The application is intuitive and easy to use. I quickly added my clients and projects and had the opportunity to add time manually as well as one stop via stop watch. In both cases the software worked flawlessly and allowed me to enter a note as to what I was doing. I will not be using the CSV (or tab delimited) export, but the on screen report that shows total time, billed time, and unbilled time will work great for me. (When I bill, I'll just check off "billed" on the entries. Worth the $20 ... because it works and because it makes my iPhone so much more valuable.

To last reviewer- tap on the project name, tap on the edit button in the right corner, adjust time with the wheel. I'm still extremely happy with this app and appreciate the last update. It really helped to get the info off my phone in email so I can add it to my desktop version. I look forward to the desktop soon? I currently use this app PC and was very excited to find the iPhone version. I really appreciate how user friendly it is . It took no time at all to set up my clients and project and start timing them! Thanks!
Best of the Options but corrupts data

I've been using this app since its origins as a Palm App. I like its multiple projects and clear on/off interface. The export to a PC also works well. No web service is required to record time which for me is a deal breaker on other options. Unfortunately there remains a latent bug that corrupts the time database. A day will get deleted and another days time repeated instead. I've made several attempts to isolate potential odd scenarios that result in this corruption (midnight rollover, deletion of a day and restart) to no avail. Initially the developer responded and gave me clear instructions on clearing the local database. That got me restarted but didn't address the underlying problem. The last two times I've reported it to the developer I've gotten no response. The bug remains...
