Download and install Yahoo Sports: Watch Live NFL on your Laptop or Desktop computer

If you want to install and use the Yahoo Sports: Watch Live NFL app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Yahoo Sports: Watch Live NFL in the search bar and press Search. Click on Yahoo Sports: Watch Live NFLapplication icon. A window of Yahoo Sports: Watch Live NFL on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use Yahoo Sports: Watch Live NFL for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • Fixing Something That Wasn’t Broken

    by Eriahd
Yahoo should have just stayed with the old design. The layout is worse than before and there is no longer smooth navigation through the app. If you click on a game and then go back to the list of all of the games for that night, there is an annoying glitch that moves the page so you end up clicking the wrong thing and you have to wait for the ad to pop up to be sure to avoid the mistake again. The ad that pops up at the top of the screen pushes everything down, but it pops up delayed, causing the whole screen to move down. The box scores are lacking some stats, like turnovers in basketball for example while the old version included them. It also doesn’t show if a baseball game went into extra innings before you click on it. It also doesn’t show if it is the top or bottom of the inning. Soccer games are not included with the tv information, which is a bummer. When you click on a team’s schedule, the app doesn’t separate preseason/spring training games from regular season games. There are many little things that add up, making this version a lot worse than before. Looks like I’ll be moving to espn. The app simply isn’t enjoyable to use anymore.
  • Favorite sports app out there

    by Bernard Edwards
The layout is easy and quick, has enough articles to keep me entertained, and the BIGGEST plus is that it's the only sports app I've found that shows what station a game is being played. That actually is the biggest separator between other apps. I'm giving it a 4 because stats is a little lacking, not sure how easy it is to bolster that, but it bothers me. Also, I loved when it had trending games. It was removed a while, but it still REALLY bothers me they got rid of it. I used to open the app and see a big college football game was coming up, then an NBA game, then college football. Cool. 3 big games coming on, and what channel they were on, close the app and be happy. Now I have to manually check ALL the games across all the sports. I can see if they never had it, but they did and removed it >:-<
  • Good, but tries to do too much...

    by newfastautomattik
Good app, but some of the sports I follow have scores that don’t update in real time... mostly soccer leagues. I always have to wait until later in the day and then all of a sudden all the final scores are posted. Too bad I have already used a different application to check them. If you’re not going to bother to update certain sports or leagues in real time then why even bother including them? The favorites tab pulls so much junk and garbage news and is an ad-filled mess... I don’t even use that tab anymore. Also, there is a bug. Whenever I try to remove International Friendlies and CONCACAF Gold Cup from my favorite sports/leagues they are removed but then show back up the next time I enter the app. This has been a bug for years and years... can you guys please fix this?
  • Story view from notifications do not work

    by Trumani
Great app. Easy to access relevant information for scores standings and sports but a few issues 1. When tapping on a notification, more than 50% of the time it shows the title, a screenshot, but all the text of the article disappears. 2. Correlated with 1, if you close one of these stories, there’s no way to find this article again. A reading history or a way to save stories to read later would be a great feature. 3. In scores view, once a game starts, viewing all the game scores in the scores view makes the team’s win/loss record go away. Would be nice to know since it kinda gives you a good idea if it’s a good matchup or if you’re watching a potential upset
  • More Politics and Terrible App

    by wathan99
This app continues to get worse with every update. It’s getting harder to find the news stories I want to read and despite getting alerts for stories, when I go to find them, I can’t. The other thing is that I’m realizing that Yahoo is getting extremely political and it’s definitely leaning to the left. Now, before all the Liberals chastise me, I am a moderate and don’t align with either party. I am also a Veteran and mindful of how little either major party truly cares about the people they “serve”. Having said that, I used to follow sports because they kept politics out of it. Now, it seems that I can’t get away from politics. As a result, I have deleted this app. As a Veteran, I have a right to disagree with how this app is being used to pursue a political agenda and I will refuse to download it unless major changes are made.
  • Add a “history” news section and fix sign in

    by OrgandBlkMan
OMG. I can’t take it anymore. I’m posting so maybe this will get heard and fixed. First off almost every time I get a notification of an article and I go to click it, I get either a completely blank screen or the title but no article. I can see the “back” arrow displayed but once I give up waiting for the article to load I CANT FIND IT AGAIN. Give us some sort of news search option or a “history” section so we can see articles that failed to load. Second thing is I just tried commenting on an article for the first time in a long time. It asked me to confirm my mobile device. I did and then it sent me back to a prior article. I got back to the article I wanted to comment on. Had to redo the sign in process and it repeated the same thing that happened the first time. Garbage.
  • Very surprised...

    by G.I. Joe1964
I had extremely low expectations of The Yahoo sports app delivering me the NFL playoffs on my phone, but the app came through. Watched both Saturday clashes streamed on my phone and caught everything perfectly. Even pulled the game in on my radio to compare how far behind it was from the live action, and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was less than ten seconds off. As someone who has NFL Sunday ticket from Direct T.V. (which doesn’t provide any playoff games), I give a big tip of the hat to Yahoo for coming through...
  • Need to fix. Used to be good

    by MansonsMom
Takes forever for scores and schedules to load. So annoying! this app used to be great. Now I always have issues getting scores/schedules. All my other apps work fine. I have a brand new phone with great service provider - it’s gotta be the app. *update* after this review the developer contacted me about the issues. It’s not fixed- but the fact that they read reviews and try to improve has me feeling good about yahoo sports again. I’ll keep checking back to see for improvements. But good on them for at least reading feedback from the people using the app. :)
  • Stop sending adds as “notifications”.

    by Typical Outlier
Until recently this app was perfect. I use it often and rely on it for scores, news and relevant info. It was one of the first apps I downloaded when I purchased my first iPhone years ago. I don’t know if some policy changed with iOS 12 but I receive adds now masked as “notifications”. Stop this BS. Stop. It. Stop trying to ruin everything in the world with additional income streams. If you can’t afford to run the app, cut something irrelevant or unused. I do not want adds as “notifications”. I DO want relevant notifications on my favorite sports and teams. Learn the difference.
  • Struggling

    by Dnegs12
Up until recently, this was a 5 star app. Lately though, it crashes, freezes, or scores just don’t update more often than not. I’ve tried the options suggested by the developer in some of the other reviews such as making sure I had the most up to date version and even uninstalled and reinstalled, but that did not work. An example would be when I look a MLB score, the entire MLB scoreboard tells me the Cubs/Brewers are in the top of the 6th, but when I tap the game to get the stats, I am suddenly back to the 5th inning. I figured Yahoo would figure it out, but everyone who works there must be on vacation. If the performance isn’t fixed soon I may need to look at a different app altogether.
