Install Panopto app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Panopto on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Panopto"
The search will reveal the Panopto app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Panopto is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Panopto.
Now enjoy Panopto on PC.

Not bad, but not great. Some of the controls are very clunky, the video player itself is kinda bad and could definitely use tweaks. Most importantly this app can definitely use airplay, I would even say this app needs it. Especially because of what this app is designed to do, airplay support should’ve been thought of a long time ago.
Background Audio Needs Pitch Fix

I always watch the videos at 2x speed. The pitch stays normal when the app is in the foreground, but it makes the speaker extremely squeaky and high pitched when I switch to background audio. Please fix! Thanks!

Hi, I am a student who heavily relies on viewing the scrollable transcript (captions) for my several 80+ minute lectures per week when using the desktop version. This version of the app has not demonstrated this capability on any of the videos I’ve checked. This is a must-have accessibility feature, and my operation of this app will be at a serious detriment until this simple feature is implemented.

Love the fact that this app has an app, but why in the world (in the year 2021) can we not cast the video? Nearly every other platform has the capability, but not this app - not via computer or phone. Our college uses this program to record lectures. It would be amazing to cast these to the television and take notes while watching. Also can’t watch the web version from my phone, because of the cookies requirement.
