What is BC Safe?
BC Safe is the official safety app of Boston College that provides added safety to students, faculty, and staff on the Boston College campus. It integrates with Boston College's safety and security systems and sends important safety alerts and provides instant access to campus safety resources. The app also features emergency documentation, maps and transport, friend walk, support resources, emergency contacts, crime prevention and reporting, check-in, and safety notifications.
1. Boston College Public Safety has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the Boston College campus.
2. - Check-In: Enables Boston College to send a mass notification to any or all users of the app requesting for them to "check-in" to communicate that they are OK or require help in an emergency situation.
3. - Safety Notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from Boston College safety when on-campus emergencies occur.
