Lots to improve AS EXPECTED!

Many are complaining about the lack of physical rewards to redeem, but the fact is we were ALL informed these rewards would be shut down for awhile while the transition to this new program was worked out. The movie posters are my go-to on here, so I understand, but we have been told before this switch took place that all the physical rewards would be returned and more would be added later after the launch was ironed out. There’s still issues with redeeming points and missing points and while the website seems a bit unorganized and the rewards don’t see too organized, the app seems like it will make it much easier to redeem new codes, redeem rewards and check in on new stuff without having to use the webpage. GIVE IT TIME PEOPLE! They told us this! We will get our blu rays and movie posters and such back as rewards soon! Relax and give the app a go so that you’re ready to claim the new rewards when they arrive!
Good app, but needs more rewards

I was hoping they would finally make an app for the DMR and now it’s here. It’s convenient. It is much easier to earn points now by scanning the ticket and the usual links from certain movie ticket websites. Though, I do wish they add AMC to the list. Oh well. Guess fandango will have to do. I do like they add Movies Anywhere so we can add points from digital purchases, which I’m glad they brought it back. Been wanting that since the app Movies Anywhere was a thing. Wish they would get us to link it up soon. Though, the only major drawback from the new site is that there’s not much rewards. No dvds, blu-rays, pins, posters, or any cool thing that any the app fan would love to have. Now, the rewards are just coupons and discounts. There are a couple of great ones like a vip tour, but you only need a lot of points to get it. Overall, a good upgrade, but needs more rewards.
Inferior to Disney Movie Rewards. Way inferior.

the app Movie rewards was already in thin ice with me when they dumped almost all of my years’ worth of points with less than 24 hours notice about 5-6 years ago. I managed to save enough since then to pick out one of my kids’ favorite movies. Just as I went to order I was informed of the hold due to the migration to this new app/program. The hold was several days and then boom, rewards are gone and all I can get are tickets and gift cards. the app movies are an investment as is, the prizes were not major losses given how long it took to accrue them, but even back then there were loopholes and site errors leading to nonrefundable point expenditures. I really wish the whole “the app customer service experience” translated to this program - in 10ish years I haven’t had a good experience. App also crashes and is difficult to navigate. This mom of two *point* five young children is out, the app.
Disney Movie Rewards?

I know this may not be a problem with the app, but I think it’s ridiculous that they did away with the app Movie Rewards and changed it to this. You used to be able to redeem rewards for movies (blu-rays & dvds), posters and other types of merchandise. Now, it’s only for gift certificates to their website. D23 membership. Movie tickets, and that’s basically it. There’s nothing worth getting for the rewards you earn. Some people like to still own blu rays and redeem points, but I guess since the app+ is a thing, now, most people will get their the app fix from that. Furthermore, even with the rewards, they should at least offer a year of the app+ with reward points redemption. Then, it might be worth it to even check it out. Thanks a lot, the app. My points are basically worth nothing, now. Why even still have the app reward points?
