I have to call this Anti-fun
By Humanistic Jones (Pcmac user)
For starters on the technical, the game has a habit of failing to load and requiring me to restart it multiple times to get back into it. The tutorial messages from Nora would auto progress to their last message meaning you’d miss everything but the last few words. The interface feels regularly unresponsive. The things that you have to buy for money don’t show you their price, you’re just told you don’t have enough and directed to the real money store.
Onto the experience. The only part of this app here is the chibi-models. No VA, none of the music, none of the charm. The actual gameplay is that standard Candy Crush random chance puzzle garbage designed to make you re-do the level over and over until you randomly get the pieces to come out in the right order to beat the stage in the given steps. This just eats your hearts so that you run about of ability to play the game and then you give them money. This isn’t designed to be fun to play, it’s designed to be a compulsion that you keep handing money to in order to just keep going.
Don’t download this, and I’m really sad to see RT attaching their IP to this trash.

Good game, really needs major updates
By Auro_Z (Pcmac user)
I never really thought I’d ever enjoy a Camdy Crush clone like this game but this is a pretty decent time-burner. What really grabbed my attention to this one was because it was this app-themed. That said, it’s incredibly glitchy and needs a lot of work (almost as if it was barely play tested). I’ve experienced several glitches, including but not limited to: incredibly long startup times, buttons not working, serious grammar mistakes, crystals not moving by my actions, and very, very, VERY frequent crashing, which can happen at the worst of times. There’s so many more problems that I have with the game, but if I were to go on with that, it’d take an entire day to write this review. So until this game gets a major update to fix all of its problems, and I sincerely hope this review gets heard by the developers for those problems listed, I have to give it a low rating. It’s a fun game, but there’s no avoiding that it will not work properly.

What a mess!
By beclemund (Pcmac user)
It’s been over seven years since Candy Crush was first released. Outside of novel licensing, this lackluster, substandard clone of that gem puzzler builds absolutely nothing on that history nor has anything been learned from the hundreds of other puzzlers that have come since. Why Crunchyroll or Rooster Teeth thought hitching their names to this terrible game was a good idea is beyond comprehension. If you can get beyond the boring design and decades behind animation, you still have to endure frequent crashing and broken features. Starting new puzzles often drops you out of the game entirely. Your replay energy will be consumed upon return too and you will have to reselect the puzzle. Various screen pop-ups will freeze the game forcing you to swipe close the app and restart. Offline play seldom works. And startup times for such a basic, dull game are surprisingly long. Save yourself the frustration and give your phone or tablet a this app branded case or skin while playing Puzzles & Dragons or any number of much better gem puzzler games!

Fun game, love the chibis, some bugs
By Jojofydhdyv (Pcmac user)
I love the this app franchise! When crunchyroll announces this game, I was one of the first to head to the App Store and download. It’s an amazing game, with an offline mode feature! A lot of games now don’t have that so when I’m on the train and I have no service, this game is perfect to keep me entertained. Some problems I have run into would be an occasional crash which doesn’t happen too often and the blank screen when selecting your characters. Besides those, great concept of super moves and block breaking!
