Read Text Speed Reading App for Pc

Put for gods sake! Enough with the ads every single minute in the app! It makes it completely useless. And it keeps playing while the ad is over it. So if you are like me with 250 words per minute, you miss a lot of content. So while the app is simple, it’s useless for me. Will be deleting.

THIS APP WORKS and doesn’t cost 39.99 a month to use. My use-case is for pasting Bible chapters to the app quickly. I have SPDR on my iPhone and this is a good replacement on my iPad. SPDR can work with larger downloaded documents but that feature is buggy sometimes. I haven’t even tried to paste a huge document using Speed Reader, yet. July 1, 2020. I enjoy the feature that allows the amount of displayed words while reading to be changed. The dialogue box that opens when changing the words displayed on the screen has to be closed using the “done” button. I would enjoy the ease of use if the box could be closed with a press anywhere outside the box. The press outside the dialogue box would act the same as the “done” button, saving the selection and closing the box. If you should keep or remove the “done” button if this is added, I don’t know but I wont be using it if the other option always works. The dialogue box also has the redo, undo, and clipboard icons with a downward facing arrow on the right side too. I don’t know if these serve a purpose or not. The ImportWords dialogue box works and serves its purpose. There are two buttons on the dialogue box: an “X” and “OK”. Both do the same thing as I understand. I would enjoy being able to delete the text within the dialogue box using the “X” and having the “OK” as a save and close button potentially with the same added function that the “done” button I have already described. The position of the “X” button doesn’t need to change if it is given the feature of deleting the pasted text because there should be a required amount of time pressed before the function will activate. If the “X” deletes the text too easily it will be more of a nuisance than a feature. On the reading screen there is the settings button, the help button, the displayed words, the counter, the invisible finger functions, and the ad banner at the bottom. On an iPad the text is small for a single displayed word. It would be enjoyable to have another finger function that changes the size of the text using a two finger pinching or expanding movement on the screen. Under the “Speed” setting in the settings tab an associated “Size” setting could be too. I will continue to use this app and I hope my feedback is worthwhile. There’s a lot of garbage out there and I’m glad something works. I have almost no aesthetic preferences but I do actually enjoy this apps dinky look haha. Brent
