Improving
By johnturner4004 (Pcmac user)
So they really only should have three stars but I think they got a bad rep for releasing an app that wasn’t functional yet. It’s come a LONG way from when I purchased the remote. Originally programming through the app was impossible. They have since fixed this. It took me a while to get my tv programmed but I blame Emerson for that because they have like a paragraph’s worth of codes which is ridiculous. Couldn’t find my Roku with the smart search function which is kind of irritating seeing as roku is one of the most popular smart devices. It did work by searching for manufacturer.
The reason I gave it five stars is simple. They’ve obviously been reading these reviews and really trying to improve. I love the concept and hope they continue improving. They really redeemed themselves by fixing their app. I almost returned it but decided to give it one last time since I was technically out of the return period and missing the receipt. I’m glad I did because I really needed a remote. It’s hard to watch tv before bed when you can’t turn it off when you’re ready to sleep.

Nothing works!
By Kuluz (Pcmac user)
Been here for almost 2 hours now, trying to give this remote the benefit of a doubt after reading too many negative reviews. Ok, my headline wasn’t totally accurate....ONE thing works....it connected to my TV, to turn it off/on and turn the volume up/down. Besides that, it doesn’t work. The codes to pair it with my cable box doesn’t work, the manual pairing....well, forget that! I’ve tried all the ways listed for me to try and none work except if I want to turn my tv on/off to look at a black screen, and volume up/down. Will be returning this device and it’s lame excuse for directions tomorrow.
Ps. I really had high hopes after reading the few good reviews, but now that I think about it, they’re probably fake reviews to bring up ratings.

Great

So, are some of you soft in the head? You get a universal remote and whine about having to manually program it? The remote is easy, and this app makes it easier. I get some of you might have issues for one reason or another. This app works really well, and if you’re not satisfied with its functionality or performance, you won’t be happy with anything else.

Beam
By Leehinson (Pcmac user)
Does not work. To connect to the app, the power button does not stay on so it does not connect. I spent hours manually programming checking each time to be sure it worked. Then when I finished 4 connections I checked and they stopped working. So now I spent money for the remote and am paying for the app and nothing works. NOT GOOD.
When the app is turning to connect to the remote the remote starts beeping so obviously they are connecting but the app never does actually connect it just keeps trying to connect.
