Install MG Lighting by Sharper Image app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using MG Lighting by Sharper Image on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MG Lighting by Sharper Image"

All the colors DO NOT WORK

I got this lightbulb as a gift and was very excited to use it. I immediately put it in a socket and downloaded the app only to find out that only four out of the “wide range of colors” actually worked and lit up the bulb. Only red, orange, yellow and green appeared. What happened to the rest of the rainbow? When I dragged my finger across the color palette on the app, hoping that it would be more effective, the colors still wouldn’t change to a pink, blue, or purple as was the whole reason I wanted to use this product to begin with. They remained to shuffle through those four same colors no matter how many other shades I pressed on or adjusted. Even better, when I called costumer service, all of the assistants could barely speak English and I couldn’t find the product number on the box so they all told me they couldn’t help me and did nothing otherwise to give me support. DO NOT buy this product unless you are willing to take a chance that yours probably won’t work either and are happy with those four colors. I am very upset and disappointed with this company. This product was a scam and a ripoff.

Only the color changing part works

I tried time and time again to make the scheduling function work and I even went so far as to call the company for some trouble shooting only to have them to tell me that they don’t support the device. So now I’m left with a product that is lacking functionality and no info.

Music Feature DOESN'T WORK. Disappointed for New Years.

Call your app developers immediately because based on these reviews, obviously the music problem has been going on for a while--scamming people out of their product. I received this as a gift and the music feature, a major feature of the product, doesn't work within the App. When you click on a song and press play, nothing plays. Please give your customers the product they PAID for. You made the choice to not include a remote, and to make this product reliant on the app-- the least you can do is update it.

I've been able to use the schedule function and no problems with the app. Best light bulb I've ever had! My only little thing is the brightness, it defaults to full brightness when changing the color manually, I would prefer it stay at a fixed brightness all the time.
