- The Lifeway app has multiple set lists and works well on both iPhone and iPad.

- The app is similar to the Baptist hymnal app, which some users may find familiar and easy to use.

- The inclusion of patriotic American songs may be seen as unbiblical, unloving to Christians in other countries, and potentially idolatrous.

- The login and password system may have technical issues, preventing users from accessing the app.

- The full version of the Baptist hymnal app requires repurchasing extra songs, which some users may find unfair.

The National Anthem is a Worship Hymn!

I pray that everyone in our country will read the second verse to the “Star-Spangled Banner.” When we sing it in our church, we are praising the Lord! It says, “Praise the Power that hath made us and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just; and this be our motto: “In God is our trust!” All glory be to the Lord! Also, if you read the words, you will see that they are a praise to God not to the nation. We are thankful for our nation, but our praise is going to God. Also, the scripture selection underneath the title is well chosen, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” Psalm 33:12
Why double charge

Almost the same as the Baptist hymnal app. The Baptist hymnal app has a better search function but only one set list. The the app app has multiple set lists and it works with I-phone and I-pad equally well. If you own the full version of the Baptist hymnal app, you have to repurchase the extra songs. To me this doesn’t seem right. They could at least give Baptist hymnal users a discount.
National anthems aren’t hymns!

I really like this app as it has many hymns I treasure in the free version. I was very disappointed that “The Star Spangled Banner” is included in this collection that the app describes as songs for worship of the true and living God. Are you worshipping God or America? There are a few other patriotic American songs which I think is unbiblical, unloving to Christians in other countries and potentially idolatrous. Thanks for creating the app, but please use more discernment in what you describe as “worship.”
Doesn’t even work

I created a login and password then tried to log in and got an error 404 message repeatedly. I never got past that stage. It’s a shame, I was looking forward to trying this app.
