1. UPISketch is a new kind of composition tool, that keeps the principle of “pitch versus time” of the classical score, extended in the continuous domain.

2. It is inspired by the famous UPIC machine that was invented in 1977 by Iannis Xenakis and the CEMAMu engineers.

3. It allows to freely draw absolute pitch curves applied to existing sounds.

4. It can be used to sketch musical ideas, try alternative scales (divisions of the octave), and more.

5. It uses granular synthesis.

Install UPISketch2 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using UPISketch2 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "UPISketch2"
The search will reveal the UPISketch2 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once UPISketch2 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including UPISketch2.
Now enjoy UPISketch2 on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use UPISketch2,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "UPISketch2" » then Click "Install".
- UPISketch2 will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
