Best game I've played this year
By Celestial Wolf (Pcmac user)
First I’m gonna start off by saying I’m one of those types that sees a game and says ”Oh this game looks cool I’m gonna download it to see if I like it” and even when liking those games I never leave a review, so me just starting this should say something. Another thing is I liked this game so much I would LOVE to play another game created by these people. Now to my actual review. This game is perfect for those looking for more insight into themselves and looking for something a little extra like DDLC extra (doki doki literature club). This game branches off into three different paths and your choices will affect the outcome. I started off with the bad ending and original thought that what I had done was a good thing but after unlocking what I’m gonna call the true good ending I know for a fact my first ending was wrong. After unlocking the true ending I was left smiling for a couple of minutes. In my opinion only the best of games can create that reaction and I’m glad to say that this one was one of them.

Beautiful, yet horrifying. Serene, yet chaotic.

This game isn’t like other games, when I first opened it I expect a normal TapTap game that I’d play for all of a day or so and then delete, but then it turned into so much more.
The personality tests take on a form that makes them more personal to the being doing them.
They introduce a mighty being that constantly tells you not to go against the grain and a unsympathetic girl, ES, that turns out to be more of a lost lamb finding her answers with you along the game. They are constantly fighting each other, the mighty being telling you not to trust ES and ES showing dissatisfaction towards the mighty being.
The way to progress is either to unlock books and allow it to grow over time, tap the butterfly that’ll sometimes appear in ES’s library and watch an ad or you have to tap on the speech bubbles that’ll appear on the main screen slowly moving towards you. The speech will change as you progress through ES’s personality test and will fit your results.
I’ll be honest, some of those bubbles made me flinch because of how they dug into old scars. You might say “why it’s just a game” but in my opinion you need to make this game your story. Not a story you want to see every ending to or see the happiest ending to, make it yours. That’s how you’ll truly experience this master piece.
Unlike other reviewers that've played through several times I will not get every ending, but I will get *my* ending.

Interesting gameplay
By bronibron (Pcmac user)
At first I was just bored so I scrolled through the games section, I found this game and the concept of the game seemed interesting to me, so I downloaded and played the game, the Façade said not to listen to Es, however it felt as if she was in the same shoes as me, in the game and in real life, alone and almost emotionally “sad”, Es to me was like a real person due to the way she speaks and how she expresses it, both trying to find out who we truly are within the mask that we’re wearing, there’s a good and a bad ending, the good ending seems all positive and happy while the bad ending seems a bit horrifying and dark, I won’t get into too much detail, anyways I like how she also embarks finding her personality depending on how we play the game, it’s truly beautiful and scary at the same time, this game is for those who want to find and better understand theirselves, I wouldn’t say it’s not for the faint of heart, but it really depends on how you play, 5/5

Made Me think... and scared.

In this game, you can take quizzes provided by the character Es. They make you think about how you feel concerning different topics. In order to take those quizzes, you need EGO, which is the currency/money in the game. In order to get EGO, you have to go and click different quotes that it provides on the main page called “Inquiry”. Those quotes are very interesting and can be very depressing.
It’s a very creepy game if you think about it, and it’s very odd. For me, I enjoy it because I like weird things! Not to mention, it also felt very therapeutic. Plus, if you go into the “Records”, you can find the books and pages you have collected and marked. I really enjoy reading them, even if they are very strange. They have a symbolic meaning behind all of them, and you are able to interpret them in your own way!
If you like mysteries, strange things, amazing art, and reading, this is definitely a game you should try!
