Install myColorado™ app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using myColorado on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "myColorado"
- The search will reveal the myColorado™ app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once myColorado is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including myColorado.
- Now enjoy myColorado on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use myColorado,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "myColorado" » then Click "Install".
- myColorado™ will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Update: Can’t get through setup

Took the picture of back of my DL, app just hangs. White page with “Log in” and a back arrow at the top. Seems like a good idea if/when it starts working.
Update: Got through the setup. Although I got to the submit part and that’s where I’m told it doesn’t like the front Id image. So I have to repeat the whole process (not just the 1 image).
Okay, 4 or 5 tries later it FINALLY takes.
Pretty neat IDEA, but the not on the digital Id says it doesn’t replace the requirement for having your physical Id and registration with you. So, I guess this is Phase 1? Eventually we won’t need our cards?
I set this up thinking I wouldn’t need to take my wallet everywhere because I wouldn’t need my DL. If I need to have that ANYWAY, not sure the benefits of this especially having to put in a 12 char password to access?
Okay, I guess Face ID works with it.

Won’t get past uploading DL and selfie pictures

Tried several times several different way to get the front and back of my drivers license and the selfie. Photo checks out during the process and gives green checks but fails every time when it tries to upload and says the photos are blurry or have a glare or something is wrong in general or an error occurred . Then it makes you log in again and redo it to have the same thing happen. It’s funny how my iPhone can recognize my face in near pitch black to unlock my phone but this app can’t recognize a face in a photo and upload to finish the account setup. Really frustrating and needs to be fixed ASAP.

Registration is failing

Able to scan DL; however, Creating Account is non responsive. Have tried several times and receive the spinning wheel of death after entering my account info and select Create Account.
I tried later in the day and I was able to complete the registration process and it has been working fine ever since. I am excited to see how this app will evolve to include car Registration and Insurance info

Doesn’t open

The app doesn’t open just has circle of death. After 7 min the app finally went to the login screen. Tested my WiFi it’s at 98 mbps and my cellular connection is a full strength. Hopefully an update will be coming soon
