Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Great start with lots of room to grow

I would say that this is the foundation of a fantastic app that has a lot of promise. The interface is great and the features that it does have are well executed. I was looking for an app that handles note-taking and audio recording, and this app serves both of those functions well. My issue has to do with the walled ecosystem that a tool like this creates. People like myself jump from tool to tool and want to be able to export and move our data around. For me, I use Bear as my primary note repository, and wanted to use this app as a way to take notes during meetings while recording the audio. Again, it does do that exceedingly well. However, if I wanted to move a note from this app into Bear (or Evernote, or any other "digital bucket" type app), you quickly run into limitations. You can copy/paste text but a lot of the formatting gets lost. That's why I prefer to type in Markdown, which this app doesn't handle. You can pull audio out easily enough, but better handling of the text is what I need. Excited to follow this app's development!

I'd love to leave 5 stars because this is really well designed and branded. and it works very well. but there are two major issues I have. I am unable to sync notes from my ipad to the desktop app. Which is incredibly important so the research I do. It seems like that capability is intended but it isnt functional right now. which is very disapointing. Secondly, I can not edit the text in the notebook durring playback without it changing the timestamp. it is incredebly sensitive and I find that I am altering the timestamp when I am really just trying to add extra notes to that section while I am listning to the playback of the recording.
Has room to grow ..

Not too bad, but has limitations that I hope will get fixed in upcoming updates. I wuld start with "pros" but the app has no unique or distinctive features. Sync through iCloud is a huge plus, but that is about it. Cons: 1. Not sure why the huge emphasis on recordings. Almost all other competing products support audio recording. The "record" buton occupies a large area in the top of the note, it should be moved to the toolbar. 2. Why can't we change the font of the text, and the size of the font (bigger, smaller not enough)? 3. Some new notes I created disapperared right away by just clicking on them. Did not where they went, and I could not "undo". 4. You cannot change the title of the note. I know it picks up the first sentence or line of the note and makes it the title of the note, but that is not a good wy to title note. Flexibility, please! 5. The "books" you can add to the left panel dont stay in their place. Whn you add a note to a "book" the book moves up to the top of the pane on the left. Can you please make them fixed, but can be re-ordered manually by dragging? 6. There are no nested books; would be nice to have (like Apple Notes or Notability, ..) 7. Would be nice to control the text color. I realize the Mac app is new, so I am hoping feature enhancements will be coming soon and that is why I am not cancelling my subscription.

This app made my life a whole lot easier! Love this app. Timestamped notes save my time so much! It syncs all over my iPhone, iPad, plus Mac now :) I do not regret subscribing to this app at all. Recommend this app to anyone who needs to take note! It will be a totally new note taking experience! Thanks!!!!
