What is Aparillo? The Cinematic Machine is an advanced 16 voice FM synth called Aparillo, which is designed for creating complex sound structures, majestic motions, moving and evolving soundscapes, and atmospheres that are perfect for film, TV, or games. It offers a huge range of styles from basses to brasses, pads to leads, and even percussion. The app features two interacting FM synthesizers, a free-signalflow filter/spatial comb device, a polyphonic auto-pan, delay, reverb, and a Sugar Bytes innovation called the Spacializer. The superstar of Aparillo is the Orbiter, an instinctual "mass-controller" that allows for one-touch sound morphing.

4. The superstar of Aparillo is the Orbiter, an instinctual "mass-controller" you move through Aparillo's endless sonic universes for one-touch sound morphing.

5. A clever arrangement of synthesis, wave shaping, filtering, FX and modulation unfolds into a serious sound design tool for epic sonic creation.

6. Each of the sixteen voices interact with almost two dozen targets in a variety of ways for a continuous transformation and to create endless rhythms and melodic progressions.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Aparillo on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Aparillo"
The search will reveal the Aparillo app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Aparillo is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Aparillo.
Now enjoy Aparillo on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Aparillo,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Aparillo" » then Click "Install".
- Aparillo will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Incredible and Powerful

I’m loving playing with and learning this synth. There are so many possibilities for new and fresh sounds. My only complaint so far is that after a few minutes the keys tend to start sticking as if there is a hold function on and I have to close and restart the app to make it stop.
Great Sounds and UI

This synth just sounds great and the possibilities for creating your own sounds seem endless. I honestly didn’t think you could do sound design like this with FM synthesis. I agree with other that the keyboard is limiting and should be resizable. But my biggest request would be for a UI update that supports the iPad Pro 12.9. Being a UI Designer myself I am distracted by the pixelated controls on the screen. Everything is fuzzy and not crisp. If the graphics were updated for the larger screen and the higher pixel densities of the newer devices, a 5-star rating would be no problem. I realize there haven’t been any substantial updates since this synth came out. I think it’s time. Overall great app, and worth the full version price.
OMG are you serious? My mind is trying to grasp the coolness of this app.

I have to be honest, nothing that Sugar Bytes has done on IOS has impressed me, however they are on my top 5 VST list for PC...but this, this is what Sugar Bytes is doing on the bigger PC’s ... this is AWESOME! I will play with the demo some more, but Sugar Bytes looks like they nailed it! I will most assuredly be buying the upgrade for this app, I’m stoked!
Fantastic! Only one issue

App is great. Purchased full version. One problem is that after making a patch on iPad and trying to import into PC version via cloud gives the error “this patch was created with a newer version of this app”. Hopefully an update to the PC version will fix this.
