What is Metaspace? Metaspace is a powerful sketchbook app that allows users to draw in three dimensions on an infinitely expanding canvas. The app supports Apple Pencil and touch controls, and offers photorealistic pressure/tilt sensitive pencils, pens, and markers. Users can use the app to quickly draw out 3D concepts, take complex mind-mapping notes, explore their creative side, draw on top of 3D scans and other imported 3D files, and create animated walkthroughs through drawings and models. The app is built with ARKit, SceneKit, PencilKit, and Metal, and is available on iPad, Apple Silicon Mac, and supports landscape/horizontal orientation and split screen.
1. Metaspace uses touch camera controls, meaning that you use familiar multi-touch gestures to move around in the space, whilst using very little battery power.
2. Metaspace gives you the ability to draw in three dimensions, on an infinitely expanding canvas.
3. You may also turn on AR mode for something more exciting, where Metaspace will detect the world around you with the back camera, and you will find yourself walking inside of your drawing.
4. The in-app purchase unlocks the ability to be able to edit your previously saved 3D drawings.
