Very simple to use! The hardest part for me in my drawings is to figure out what colors to use; well no more. I pick my brand of color, pick my photo reference & move the target around the picture and the color\s pop up below the picture to let me know which pencil\s colors to use...one word, “Awesome!” There is also a pencil organizer which lets you know where to find the pencil\s that you need in your pencil trays and also you can customize it to fit your trays...Wonderful tool! I can’t wait to use this app for my next the app pencil painting.

I used to love this app. But now they are either charging for a extra color or you have to watch an add. I would not mind doing either of those things if it worked! I watch the add and when I get back to my colors it did not give me the extra color. Also when I want the extra color it offers a “Pro” upgrade which I have pressed numerous times yet it does not work and it does not give me the 3rd color. This app has actually gotten much worse rather than improving it.
Excellent tool to create painting!

This is a must have app for any the app pencil artist! Accurate color choosing inside your own photo and three color mixing choices to get just the right tone. Cant wait for them to add more color pencil lines. They have several well known quality brands listed but would love to see the complete Derwent Lightfast plus the 28 new colors?in CD Luminance brand! Not worth working on a painting and huge amount of time needed of your life hours if you dont use quality lightfast(non fading) the app pencils!!!

I’ve been a professional the app pencil artist since 2003 and this is one of the most helpful tools I’ve ever stumbled across. I’m not picky enough to use the exact pencils recommended (and admittedly, I have all these brands mixed together then divided up by color families), but this tool certainly speeds up my selection. I highly recommend this tool for ANY artist—not just the app pencil artists. 😊
