Install Paste Plain Text app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

It turns out that being able to clear out the style of any text I select from a web page or Word document (or whatever) in order to the app it into another document is extremely handy!
The app works flawlessly, and enables you to set it such that it will clear out the style of what you copy to the clipboard by default or do it manually by accessing the app itself, so it can work for any type of scenario.
It sounds minor, but turns out this capability makes things much simpler for anyone who does a lot of cut-and-the app with text

Nice! + suggestion

Absolutely beats doing lots of highlighing and deleting of text to clean up a text capture. Would be nice if one could specify specific words or phrases to be deleted in addition to standard now used. This would allow a tool that is tailorable to one’s own reading and capturing interests. In my case, the ability to delete the word Advertisement would make this work perfectly for my needs. A darned nice thing still!

since I can never remember the keystrokes in Pages or Keynote to past and match style. I have this on almost all the time, and when you do want to the app the source style, it’s easy enough to turn off.

Makes coping data back and forth betwee apps much easier!
My only feedback and feature request that would make this a 5* app is that I wish the menu bar had an option to change to visually indicate if clear formatting was turned on or off. Please consider adding this feature.
