What is Plain Text Paste?

Plain Text Paste is an app that allows users to copy text as plain text or remove formatting from the current clipboard content. It automatically removes all formatting such as colors, fonts, and sizes from the text in the clipboard. Users can view and edit the plain text currently in the clipboard and paste it into any app they wish.

Software Features and Description

1. Copy as plain text right within your favourite apps!* Are you tired of pasting text into an app such as Mail, only to find that the text is too large or the wrong color? Using Plain Text Paste, you can now copy as plain text*, or remove formatting from the current clipboard content.

2. Take control of your clipboard by viewing and editing text, and clearing all formatting using Plain Text Paste.

4. App does not show original rich text.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Plain Text Paste"
The search will reveal the Plain Text Paste app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Plain Text Paste is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Plain Text Paste.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Plain Text Paste,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Plain Text Paste" » then Click "Install".
- Plain Text Paste will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

On my iPad (iOS 10), when the app is opened or selected, Clipboard contents automatically populate in the app. I simply select all, copy, then paste into Notes, and all formatting is stripped. So far, it is great.
