What is Deckee Boating?
Deckee is a boating companion app that provides official aids and information from maritime agencies, crowdsourced reports from the boating community, weather conditions and forecasts, and a feature to log your trips. The app also offers safety information and alerts, the ability to edit the map and share reports, and marine weather and forecast tools.
1. The Trips feature displays your speed (kn), distance (nm) and heading in real-time, to increase your awareness and assist with navigation.
2. Your Trip summary shows total distance and trip time, average speed, as well as the start and finish times, with the option to add notes.
3. Personalise your weather dashboard to use your preferred units of measurement, and rearrange modules based on what matters most to you.
4. Deckee weather includes wind, swell, tides, temperature, rain, outlook, and much more.
5. Plan ahead for your next trip with Deckee’s weather sliding graphs and tools.
6. You can easily share trips you have taken with family, friends via text message, email or social media.
7. See updates from fellow boaters on nearby points of interest, marine facilities and services, anchorages, fishing spots, and more.
8. See speed zones, activity areas, restricted locations, and be aware of hazards and incidents near you.
9. Add missing information and help improve the map for the community.
