Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Vox City on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Vox City"
The search will reveal the Vox City app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Vox City is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Vox City.
Now enjoy Vox City on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Vox City Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Vox City,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Vox City" » then Click "Install".
- Vox City will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Great app

Great app, easy to use, latest version is a step above other products out there. Used it in Rome recently. Look forward to getting this for other cities on my next trip.
Needs accompanying text

Bought at St Peter’s Basilica in Rome, tried to use it for about 30 min; it was hard to use in the crowded space. Needs text transcripts and better pictures. It’s hard to identify which item is being discussed as St Peters is literally covered with significant works of art. Would also be interesting to have more history about the church.
Not worth it!

Stay away from this app and service. Spend 15 EUR for it but it is hard to link the audio guide to the physical items. The map in the app does not describe the St Peters Church at all. Comparing with other audio guide devices in Rome (less than 10 EUR), this is almost like a scam. More price far less quality!
