Berry is a web browser app that provides a dark mode for all websites, blocks ads and trackers, and offers other features such as a dark keyboard, thumb-friendly navigation, and a privacy-first policy. 99% perfect I just have one nitpick that maybe no one else notices or cares about. The app icon is really dark. I get the whole dark mode and everything and I like that a lot. However, the app icon seems to ignore the brightness of my phone and appears to be dimmed down on the home screen. It looks really strange next to my other apps and it’s a nice looking icon, I just wish it was bright enough to see. Okay enough said I know it sounds weird and it’s not really a problem. More of a minor annoyance that I hope someone will agree with and decide to change :/ Thanks for making a great app!!

I like the fact that the browser is fast and the user can change the themes quickly, however, the browser does not provide buttons to go backwards or forward like Safari and other browsers do. Also, it will be good to have the option of setting up a default website so that each time you open the browser it opens on that specific website, like google for example. In addition, it will very convenient to have the option to use the dark keyboard available in iOS. Also, I noticed that the browser is inverting the colors of the photos in some websites, like the google maps website for example.

I am happy to report that this is not one of those barely functional, cash grabs that sometimes finds its way onto the App Store. It really does feel like a regular browser so I do not think anyone would have difficulty adapting should they switch over. The three finger night slider is probably the coolest functionality because even the lowest iPhone brightness can be a bit of a strain. You can go from literally complete blackness all the way up the original white light of blinding death. There are only a few additions I would like to suggest. One would be to add a thin gray outline on the bookmark tiles and tab outlines to make them a bit more distinguishable. In regards to the bookmark tiles specifically, they kind of blend into the background too well. It is difficult to define how big the tile really is. The other addition would be a way to import Safari bookmarks, but that is because I am lazy AF. Anyways thanks for the great app.
Good Browser, but Needs Refinement

I love having a dark mode web browser for iPhone and iPad and also having the address bar on the bottom of the screen. However, the app still needs some tweaks and fine-tuning to get it as a legit Chrome or Safari replacement. Facebook renders pretty poorly on both iPhone 8 Plus and iPad Pro 12.9 using the app and pages seem to take awhile to load relative to Chrome/Safari. I’m looking forward to future updates that make this my default browser, but right now it’s still feels like a work in progress.
