Software Features and Description

1. The energy harvesting feature of the embedded ST25DV series Dynamic NFC Tag means you can even deploy the STEVAL-SMARTAG1 without a battery and still read sensor data in one shot mode.

2. With the ST NFC Sensor app, you can configure and read data from any system running the FP-SNS-SMARTAG1 or FP-SNS-SMARTAG2 firmware package, like the STEVAL-SMARTAG1 or STEVAL-SMARTAG2 evaluation board.

3. The app lets you change sampling intervals, choose which sensor data is logged, and the conditions that trigger data logging.

4. Once configured, the app can present data in informative plots, identify significant events such as high impulses and changes in orientation.

Install ST NFC Sensor app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using ST NFC Sensor on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ST NFC Sensor"
The search will reveal the ST NFC Sensor app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once ST NFC Sensor is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ST NFC Sensor.
Now enjoy ST NFC Sensor on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native ST NFC Sensor Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use ST NFC Sensor,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "ST NFC Sensor" » then Click "Install".
- ST NFC Sensor will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
