Download and install the Face Cap - Motion Capture app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Face Cap on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Face Cap"
- The search will reveal the Face Cap - Motion Capture app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Face Cap is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Face Cap.
- Now enjoy Face Cap on PC.
- Using Face Cap on Mac OS:
Install Face Cap - Motion Capture on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.
How to download and use Face Cap App on Windows 11
To get Face Cap on Windows 11, check if there's a native Face Cap Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Face Cap:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Face Cap" » Click "Install" to install Face Cap - Motion Capture
- Face Cap - Motion Capture will now be available on your windows start-menu.

I don’t know if the mouth is supposed to barely be open but you probably need to update it so it works for the Xs. I want to purchase this for a project but I’ll wait until the next update releases
Edit: so all of the values export correctly. 5/5 this is great. The mesh might be weird but as long as the values export correctly, it’s a winner!

Amazing app less than stellar pricing, I think with a more reasonable price like $9.99 the developer could get more people interested. At the current price of $20+ I’m going to wait for a few more updates to its functionality before purchase.

Doesn’t work with anything except the X

Should work with any iphone with the depth sensor. Needs to be updated to allow use on XS and XS Max
instead just displays an error
