Install Leica FOTOS app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Leica FOTOS on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Leica FOTOS"
The search will reveal the Leica FOTOS app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Leica FOTOS is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Leica FOTOS.

The app worked fine for importing RAW files straight from my Q-P to my phone. I just updated to 2.0 and now the app doesn’t open.

Maybe I am wrong but the app does not show the photos you have favorited in the camera. Big big mistake. For example you take 100 shots on the app and “star” the ones you like. When you then connect to app you can no longer see which photos you “starred”. Please fix this! Thanks the app
Still not good

I love my the app Q but this app is a big disappointment for me. The control is ok for the now and again need for remote shutter and such, but not a big improvement over the old app. The biggest disappointment is in file transfers. I was really looking forward to transferring raw dng files wirelessly, and out of 8 attempts to download I have one successful transfer. The other 7 attempts either caused the app to hang forever or the Wifi dropped altogether because the transfer was soooo slow. I won’t be using this app. Unfortunately, still the only way to get raw files onto the iPhone or iPad direct is through the SD card reader. Oh well. UPDATE: I played around with the app a bit more and it seems to work better. Whenever I got the hanging experience, I just disconnect and reconnect the wifi and it seems to remedy the issue. One request— manual focus in remote control mode would be nice. When shooting long exposure shots of the night sky etc, the app doesn’t seem to allow manual focus and forces autofocus whether the focus ring is on manual mode or not. I’d like to be able to set it to infinity for that purpose. Updated to 3 stars.
