Ghostbusters World for Pc

Downloaded this game at my boyfriend’s suggestion. I love being able to capture ghosts and battle them. I have two issues however with the game, so I am debating not playing because of this. 1- I feel like I capture the same ghosts all the time. Besides work and church, I don’t get out much as my job and family do take up a lot of my time. That being said, I feel like there should be more variety of ghosts available to capture even at your frequently visited locations. 2- The game is really complex in some aspects like collecting element shards and runes? Even after the tutorials I’m still not really sure what I’m supposed to be doing with these?! All in all, it’s a lot of fun to play but if you want something that is mindless entertainment this might not be the game for you?

I really enjoy this game and believe it’s a better AR game compare to some of the others out there. It’s a great concept to catch ghost like a real ghostbuster would. But the only downside is the bugs. The game crashes at the worst possible time either when I’m about to catch a rare ghost or when I’m in the arena. Then all the supplies in game I used are gone. There are even some Sequences glitches I have notice which makes the game crash without fail every single time I do a certain commands. Like for example changing the secondary weapon to fight a rare ghost when I try to change it it crashes right away. But when it reboots and I do the exact same this crashes again. I usually have to wait more than 5 minutes to be able to change the weapon and more than half the time that rare ghost is gone. And the most irritating bug I have gotten is that on my first saved file which was sync to my google account. I can’t play on because it’s stuck on the tutorial for the ecto spheres. The game won’t let me open it or do anything else on the game. It’s unplayable at this point. I had to start a whole new game that syncs to my Game Center and skip the tutorial to be able to play it. Overall it’s still a great game concept and if the bugs are fixed this game will be a lot better. I still go out and play the game. Because I believe it will get better.

I’ll keep it short. I’ll write a better review once I’m further in, I’m only doing this because I was prompted to rate the game. So far the game is good, no real complaints at this time. I wish it wasn’t so cartoonish, but I’m willing to forgive that as it borrows from the Real the app cartoon show. As with all AR games, it’s not perfect, the trap lands in questionable locations (partially my own fault) and catching ghosts gets pretty repetitive if you are gaming from a recliner, but it still functions. I’ve noticed a few times on my wife’s phone that the shoot button doesn’t always trigger, just throwing that out there, she has iPhone X. Sometimes ghosts can get out of traps and reappear with more health, was this intended? It can be annoying when you start getting low on traps as you have to craft them for a small fee (which takes time). You catch these ghosts of varying rarity and store them in your containment unit to be used in ghost combat, meaning your captured ghosts become a player controlled team that you upgrade and pit them against other ghosts. Not my favorite game feature, but I may warm up to it, as I said I’m trying to keep this short.

This game was fun when I first picked it up. Sure, I had to give them $10 to keep the game systems running efficiently for the first 20 levels. However, at that point, it becomes increasingly more difficult to advance in any aspect of the game. I took a chance on $20 worth of 3-5 star spheres and didn’t get any ghosts of value. I can barely beat bosses even on easy after spending forever upgrading, and they provide hardly any rewards after the latest update. The number of rare ghosts on the street has also been reduced, so going outside into the winter temperatures provides me with no benefit. I can’t advance in the story without more powerful ghosts, and since I can’t find them. What’s the point in playing. At first, this game seemed to be better than Pokémon Go, because the chase seemed more fun and achieving seemed more realistic, but ultimately I regret getting it in the first place and my time could have been better spent playing a single player game without microtransactions.
