Perfection. Gorgeous design and incredibly useful.
By RockTheProject (Pcmac user)
This app is amazing. I’ve been brewing the app on a daily basis for over 5 years, and while I have a perfect handle on it, this handy app actually calculates the weight of each individual pour for you (brewing in a the app uses 3 individual pours per brew), which is really useful when you have friends over and need to calculate for multiple people on the fly. What’s more is that you can select your coffee-to-water ratio, which is amazing. Most roasters recommend a 1:16 ratio, but I prefer a 1:15, to ensure that over-extraction doesn’t occur. This is the perfect tool for the aficionado and the newbie alike. I can’t get over how amazing this app is, plus the design and aesthetic are simple and beautiful. Flawless.
EDIT:
I’ve been using this app at least once every day for two weeks now, and I love it. I do have some suggestions though, that would improve it.
1) 98% of the time I’m just brewing coffee for my wife and me, so I don’t need to adjust the amount of coffee I use. It would be nice if it saved my settings and I didn’t have to readjust every time. This is just a tiny detail, though.
2) I would love if the maximum amount of coffee went up to 50g, for the times that I’m brewing for more people. This is an essential thing that I would love to see happen.
Other than these suggestions, this app is perfect.

Game Changer
By shishka_rob (Pcmac user)
Been using this for a few weeks and it’s a game changer. Love the ratio options. My only critique is I wish it went higher for larger brews or had a “learn more” option so it taught more people why the ratio matters, and where it comes from.
