Software Features and Description

1. Why try to figure out how much water you need for a given amount of coffee every time? BrewControl will remember what coffee to water ratio you want, calculating the coffee and water weights on the fly.

2. Keep track of brew time with a stopwatch timer, or countdown timer, depending on the brew method you select.

3. You can add and reorder time events, duplicate entire brew methods, and control ratios all from your iPhone.

4. Once you're ready to brew, BrewControl will manage the time as well.

5. And when you're too busy brewing to take the phone out of your pocket, you can move the party to your Apple Watch.

Install Brew Control app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Brew Control on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Brew Control"
The search will reveal the Brew Control app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Brew Control is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Brew Control.
Now enjoy Brew Control on PC.

Ouch! So much sadness!

Update: Calling last year's update "tragic" is only a mild overstatement. After 12 months of manually updating apps (quite a learning experience!), I accidentally updated all apps. Now I have the unintuitive bright white version of this app. I could reload a backup of the last good version, but to no avail. A "feature" of the major update is that you loose all custom ratios. This is a good example of how it's dangerous to rely on hobbyist developers. -1 star. Nov 2015: Alas! My go-to coffee ratio app has been remade into a garish cartoon that hurts my eyes. Thankfully I was able to turn off auto updates before my iPhone removed the old app. No doubt this version brings more features but its design is so misguided I will have to pass. I wish the developer well, but mostly I wish he’d get a UI design consultant. Previous: My daily companion for more than 4 years. Unlike a lot of iOS software, this app doesn't need much in the way of updates. It's amazing as it is. This is a great app for managing the preparation of just about every brewing method. The app has a great looking UI and works well. Recent improvements make an already great app better.

This was my go to app for making all types of coffee. I was saddened when it wouldn't launch under iOS 9 and I needed to find an alternative. Today I was thrilled to discover it has been updated and refreshed to reflect the times. Don't let the Skeuomorphism holdouts scare you off. This app is still the most flexible and useful coffee app in the store. I would gladly pay for it again if I needed to. Worth every penny!
