Does not work at self check out

I’ve had this app for quite some time and it used to work at self check out when entering in my phone number but now it does not work. It hasn’t for quite some time (not really sure when it started so who knows how many points I missed out on) and is forcing me to use the check out line. I don’t have a problem with using the check out line but when I have one item and have to wait behind someone with a cart full of stuff it gets annoying. It works fine for the regular check out line but I’d like to be able to use this app when I’m in a hurry or only have one item. There should be a way to scan the barcode in the app at the self check out (just like they can do in the line) OR there should be a way to scan a barcode on the receipt to redeem point just like ANY OTHER MODERN APP. I thought when downloading this that it would be great and a decent way to save money on things I use often but the annoyance of the app never working doesn’t make it worth it.
Rewards and Schnupons

The rewards aspect and how it works is great. Zero complaints on that end. The problem I have is with the coupons, why not just automatically link all coupons to the rewards account. Don’t make customers search through all of the coupons and pick the ones they will use. Just link all of them to everyone’s account. If they buy the product it automatically comes off when checking out. No reason for all of the extra steps to search and see if the things you buy have a coupon.

The app won’t let me sign in, so that I can use the Schnupons; the app kept closing on me after giving me an Oops error message, telling me to restart the app & if problem continues to contact customer support. So, I deleted & reloaded the app 3x. Even changed my password. I have an account with the app & can sign in online so I know my info is correct. I called customer support. The guy I spoke with was rude, he assumed I was making the mistake (because apparently I don’t know how to sign in properly) & he refused to hear that there may be an issue with the app, telling me “I can assure you nothing is wrong with the app” & he told me to just go online instead. A waste of my time
Good for frequent shoppers

Easy to use, lots of coupons and one high value offer every week. My only complaint is the placement of the barcode. When you’re scrolling through coupons, the barcode link is in the bottom right corner. So if you’re right handed, you can accidentally hit that a number of times while trying to scroll through the list.
