1. Drag clips or a project straight from FCP X to Random-X to get a brand-new project with the same shots in a new, random and shuffled order.

2. This helps you exploring your footage and evaluating its strengths and weaknesses quickly - simply by presenting your shots in a new random order each time you have the project randomized.

3. Random-X randomizes the order of clips in Apple's Final Cut Pro X, to provide inspiration for montages.

4. Adjacent clips in projects can be kept together with strategically placed Markers.

5. Clips can be used whole and complete, or just the favorite or keywords sections.

6. The intended workflow is to use Random-X many times while working on a montage.

Install Random-X app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Random-X on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Random-X"
The search will reveal the Random-X app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Random-X is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Random-X.
Now enjoy Random-X on PC.
