Software Features and Description

1. This iOS application is part of the Beiwe research platform used to collect research-quality smartphone sensor and usage data from subjects in clinical and non-clinical research studies.

2. The Beiwe research platform, including this application, is a project of the Onnela Lab at Harvard University.

3. Beiwe integrates with the Health app, because Beiwe's surveys are built on ResearchKit, which uses HealthKit as a dependency.

4. The Beiwe2 app connects to any Beiwe server deployment; during registration, you can specify the URL of the Beiwe server.

5. Only participants who have been invited to join a study, and have been provided both a user ID and a password, can use this application.

6. This work is supported by funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health.

7. Please note, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Install Beiwe2 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Beiwe2 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Beiwe2"
The search will reveal the Beiwe2 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Beiwe2 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Beiwe2.
Now enjoy Beiwe2 on PC.
