Crazy Defense Heroes: RPG TD for Pc

I’ve been playing this game for several months and there is a power wall without highly upgraded 3 star towers. The cost for these have been ridiculous and only available rarely even then. The drop rate without buying is about one every 3-4 weeks. I have found just 4 of them in several months. They just offered a starter pack for $5 with a new VIP system that guarantees a 3 star tower. I got literally the worst possible tower (snow ball which was available as a reward earlier in the game for completing a special dungeon). It is completely useless - just like it was in the app Kings because the power spike demands AOE cards due to huge numbers of mobs on hard levels. Sure, maybe I was just unlucky but drop rate on needed materials like epic clovers are also ridiculous. You get one chance every four days to earn one by beating 4 maps and I just went 0-5 on those days over 3 weeks. I need 7 of those to upgrade my one really good tower and am completely stalled out until I get them. Even in a best case scenario, it will take a month to get them, but realistically, it’s more like 2-3 months of continuous play. Also, you need legendary materials to upgrade towers which are really difficult to find and the best way is to cash in your stamina by not playing via a scavenger system to get them. It is completely and utterly broken. What a waste of time. I will not spend another penny on this game.

This game, while (too) similar to the app Kings, is a fun and well-animated tower defense/CCG. Unfortunately, two things spoil the fun pretty quickly: (1) Energy- you can only play by spending energy, which regenerates very slowly and has a relatively low cap. Do not expect to play this game for more than 30 minutes at a time. Also expect to get violently upset if you make a mistake and have to replay a level to get three stars- goodbye, more precious energy. The anger is enhanced by the game’s refusal to tell you what monsters are coming in the next wave- tanks? Fast runners? Big groups? Who knows, good luck anticipating! (2) Bad drops- as other reviews have mentioned, the drops are pretty brutal. Every tower, hero, and item has a one-star, two-star, three-star, four-star version, and each version is entirely separately upgraded. I’ve never seen anyone get a four-star anything in my alliance, and only a handful of three-stars (none of them have been towers, to boot). Not fun knowing all the materials (ugh hate materials too) and gold I spent on a two-star tower end up being useless if I ever get the three-star version of that tower... good thing no one ever gets three star towers :)

Since Apple deleted my original review, I'm posting again with an even lower rating! The card drops are completely rigged. I've purchased 11 Premium chests and not gotten a single 4 Star card. I mostly get duplicates in the other chests. If you watch the spinner, you'll see it speed up past the good cards and then slow down as it gets to the lousy ones. Other games allow you to purchase specific Heroes/Cards for a price. Here, you are randomly given cards and the chances of getting a valuable one are miniscule, as other reviewers have also pointed out. This maps are exactly copied and pasted from the app Kings, only the mechanics have been changed to make it even more of a cash grab. I've been playing the app Kings for a few years now and it's a far better game. You get cards for every battle in the Maps, 5 different arenas, Tournaments and other daily Challenges. Granted that the card drops are equally terrible (also rigged) but, so frequent that you can build up your card deck without being gouged for money. The graphics are also much better. Don't waste your money on this game as you will be constantly disappointed and, it's going to die quickly anyway as players figure out how underhanded and greedy these Devs are.

Been playing the game for roughly 4 months pretty consistently. If the review was based on solely potential I would rank it 4 or 5. I do like the game but as you move on and the game gets harder the drop rate is pathetic. After 4 months I have one 3 star tower. I just for the first time broke down and purchased 4 of their special chest (island chest). Assumed purchasing 4 would at least give me a another 3 star tower and a shot at a 4. All 4 of the chests I bought gave me the same exact 2 star tower I already have. Not even different 2 star but all the same (javelin). I get that the drops when free you can’t complain. When you actually purchase 4 chests and you didn’t even get a simple 3 star out of the group! The game as far as drops and ripping you off would 0-1 star while the game itself I would give a 4 star. I would have preferred spending my money and buying the game or buy certain known items. I won’t buy anything else from them with the way it is. The energy is a pain and as you level up the amount needed out weights what you receive but I was even ok with that.
