Software Features and Description

1. There are two types of restaurants booking categories: INSTANT BOOKINGS (watermelon colour label) and REQUEST A BOOKING (turquoise label).

2. To help you decide where to make your reservation, browse and explore restaurants by their customer rating, cuisines on offer, location, opening hours and various other booking options.

3. Tap the 'heart icon' to save your favourite restaurants for quick & easy future bookings.

4. Note: keep a lookout for the 'medal icon' awarded to restaurants that respond promptly to booking requests.

5. Bookings at Instant restaurants are instantly confirmed.

6. Download the free Dineplan app to browse availability & instantly book your favourite restaurants in South Africa.

7. Search through our comprehensive list of restaurants by availability, name, area or show available restaurants based on your current location.

8. The restaurant's Average Response time is provided when tapping the turquoise label - top right on request restaurants.

9. Request type bookings need to be accepted or declined by the restaurant.

10. View your upcoming and past booking reservations, from the bookings tab.

11. Guests can confirm or cancel bookings by simply replying Confirm or Cancel to this SMS/Email message.

Download and install the Dineplan app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Dineplan on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Dineplan"
The search will reveal the Dineplan app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Dineplan is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Dineplan.
Now enjoy Dineplan on PC.

Using Dineplan on Mac OS:
Install Dineplan on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.

How to download and use Dineplan App on Windows 11

To get Dineplan on Windows 11, check if there's a native Dineplan Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing Dineplan:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Dineplan" » Click "Install" to install Dineplan
- Dineplan will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Does not work

I downloaded the app but never got the confirmation SMS, I see now that many people complain about this here. I tried creating a new account but the app says my email already has an account and that I should sign in. The only way for me to sign in is using a password that I never created. When I asked to reset said password the email they send me redirects me to the sign in page on their website and therefore I cannot sign in at all. This is absolutely frustrating especially because I have two reservations that I never got a confirmation email about and now cannot confirm. When I try to rebook my dinner reservations the website says I already have something booked for those dates. So, apparently, they have my reservations, they are just not willing to share them with me!
Makes booking restaurants simple!

Well done for making this app. I hate phoning restaurants to check availability and speaking to people that either cannot understand me or I cannot understand them. Now I can check availability; book; and cancel bookings without speaking to anyone! Love it.
