Faster than others but...

This delivery app is much faster than others in my area. However, there are a few things I would like the app to change. Please, can you add a section where customers can write on the order that there are placing. I sometimes want my order more customizable than what my options are. For example, when I want no ice on my drink there isn’t an option for that so I have to stick with the ice. Or when I know there other drink options at the restaurant I would like to be able to have the option to swap a drink for another one. Lastly, I want the customer service feedback to be faster than it is. I want a confirmation email right away when I have a problem on one of my orders. Recently, I was missing fries for all of my meals in one of my orders. And I did report it. But, I want to know sooner than the time given that I have someone caring about me. The app should also offer a customer service phone number on the spot for those that want it. this app is what I will stick with, but I’d like to see these few changes. Thank you! Update: I was refunded later that day. Appreciate the help the app! Still would like a confirmation right away though that you received the complaint. But, refund was done in same day so that evens it out. Changing to five stars for now.
Glitchy App Costs Money

I recently had the most horrific experiences with this app that has made me change to using other meal delivery services, such as DoorDash. This Ubereats app tricked me into ordering from a restaurant with no delivery fee as part of their promotional offer. When I had used the option it turned into a financial nightmare. Not only did they not charged me a delivery fee, but the app was so glitchy that it ended up charging me twice with two different amounts for a breakfast that was supposed to cost about $30 ended up costing me $85 after all fees were accounted for in error. To add insult to injury, they added my delivery to a joint deliver and would take over an hour to to arrive. To even add further insults, they delivery driver gave me the wrong food item and gave my breakfast to someone else. So I ended up with nothing at the end but a bill for $85 in the end. However that wasn’t the end. When I had emailed their customer service over the app, they had no clue what was going on or why I was charged twice but for two different amounts. We had an ongoing back and forth email with screen shots going back and forth for the entire day before they could figure out what was wrong and promised to return my money. However when the money was finally refunded I discovered that the refunded amount was short changed of $5. I still have not received that $5 back to this day. Horrible app and horrible services all around on all ends.

One time a driver literally threw my food at the door when he got here. It was everywhere, all over my porch. The guy knocked a single time and before I could get up to answer; he threw my food. Months later; I tried again...my order took an hour and a half before...wait for it; it was cancelled! I’m a mother of a newborn and now I don’t get to eat today. It took an hour and a half for them to cancel my order because evidently they didn’t have available drivers. So I don’t get to eat. Shame on this company and I recorded the convo with Leonard as well as his supervisor. I will be playing that call for my followers on social media. DO NOT SUPPORT this company! They do not care about their clientele. I’m truly disgusted with how they’ve handled things. Thank god for DoorDash and Favor!! I’ve had nothing but problems with them, but gave them additional chances because, hey! I’m a nice gal. These people shouldn’t be in business. Notice the app says age 4 and up can use??? Why are you people allowing five year olds to order from you without their parents consent! I’m making it a mission to turn as many people away from this company as possible.
App is good, but could be improved

The biggest problem I have with the app is that when you open it, it does not default to your current location. It defaults to your last location where you placed an order. This makes it easy to make the mistake of placing an order for food that may not even be in the same city as you. Not a big deal, if the cancellation policy wouldn’t allow the restaurant to charge you full price for an order that you know you will not be able to receive, irregardless of how fast you realize your mistake and cancel the order. I cancelled an order IMMEDIATELY as it was placed because I noticed my mistake as the app was placing the order. It charged me full price for my order even though I cancelled within 2 seconds of the order being confirmed. When I called customer service, they were able to see that from the time I placed the order until it was officially cancelled was 12 seconds. They said the restaurant was already preparing my food. Give me a break...They ended up giving me a refund as a “one time courtesy”, but I was told they would never extend that courtesy again. Simply ridiculous. The app should always default to your current location, or at least verify your address is correct when placing the order. I realize the mistake was my own, but why am I seeing menus from restaurants in another state when I open the app??? Please fix this....
