Install solAR - Solar System in AR app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using solAR on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "solAR"
The search will reveal the solAR - Solar System in AR app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once solAR is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including solAR.
Now enjoy solAR on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use solAR,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "solAR" » then Click "Install".
- solAR - Solar System in AR will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Amazing learning tool for children and adults!

This is truly such a great usage of AR technology. Using an iPad or an iPhone, you can explore the planets while actually walking around. My 4 year old is obsessed, and her former favorite planet of Jupiter is now replaced by Neptune. While scale is not accurate, the app does a great job to allow us to watch the moons and planets in their (decently accurate) orbital patterns. Worth the download!

This app is very good. The planets are anchored in real-time, and you don’t need to move your device back and forth like other apps in iOS 11. In all, this is a very good app.

Got this app for my five year old son in June and he wanted to play with the planets and Sun, now to my shock and surprise i open the app and it has changed which is fine BUT ... I can no longer access the sun and other planets in the app without paying $3 to upgrade to the AR & 3D version, so I’m confused, how was it that I could use all the app before but now I can’t unless I pay for it, Make more for the app and charge for add on but don’t take away what was already there! -mr disappointed

One of the great uses for AR. It would be interesting mix the this app app with Google earth where you can check out all places of the planeta with AR.
