Glitching our after recent update
By inque313 (Pcmac user)
I haven’t really had any issues with the app until this most recent update. I buy all my bus tickets in advance for my work week via the app, and now the app glitches out whenever I try to activate a ticket. I thought that deleting the app and reinstalling it might do some thing, but it just made things worse by making all of my tickets unavailable because it says “ this ticket is downloaded to another device or associated with the previous app installation. If you feel this is an error, please contact customer service; they can unlock your ticket for your use.” Of course this is happening on a weekend so no customer service. Please fix this!!! I rely on SacRT to get to and from work. I’ve already spent the money so it’s not OK if I’m not able to use my tickets.

Inefficient
By DottieDiamond (Pcmac user)
The app is alright, other than the fact I cannot have my passes on Apple or Samsung wallet, never mind any other options. This was supposed to make life easier but it’s not easier. Connect card should be on here... it should be upload able to apple wallet, I should be able to use my phone to scan the darn machines rather than carrying yet another piece of ‘earth unfriendly,’ and wallet-stuffing plastic card. The machines should be on the actual light rail rather than on the platform (that way someone dashing on the train can still pay). All in all, the systems set up by Sac RT and affiliates are alright, just far from being an efficient use of people’s time and money. It feels like a piecemeal effort rather than a wholistic approach to efficient digital systems for public transit. Nice job, but, you’re far from done.

Keeps glitching waste of money
By tajdeecross (Pcmac user)
This app is literally a waste of money it is always glitching and I have had many problems with it when it came time to board the bus. I have had this happen to me several times that I go to activate my ticket and show the driver and it randomly glitches and closes the app then signs me out. I’m lucky if I am able to fix the problem before my bus arrives and if not, like today, I miss my bus. I’m extremely frustrated because I bought a $50 monthly pass and went to go use it but when I went to activate it it’s “unable to be activated because it’s already on a different device”??? What?! So I basically just wasted my money. Very disappointed.

No-Frills, Refreshingly Easy
By Llmbhalp (Pcmac user)
Now I can just buy a ticket when I need to (even if running so late that I just buy my ticket after I board the train!) The app is pretty straightforward and easy to use. There are no ads, it’s not a space or data hog. Gets the job done well!
