Crisp, distinct, textured sound from ME-1 with 2.0 software. A splendid blend of awesome quality with a small problem software tweaking to communicate to each hearing aide at times. Some preconfigured auto connect Bluetooth on Control Panel in iPhone 8 iOS 11.4 have to be verified in Settings, accessibility, hearing aids, and making sure connections are done on both left and right before using “ME control” app. Several trips to the audio tech are required to balance, attenuate, and enhance your style of music. The effect is concert hall quality in your ears. In the ME Control 2.0 app I use “Universal” for jazz, soul, and even classical by adjusting the treble in the ME Control app. Note using the sound tech experience you will find the sweet spot comfort for smooth jazz and classical in order to make the ME-1 jump start your day. The Tinnitus setting was tweaked by the sound tech for less bass to deal with conversations, restaurants, and auditoriums. Cleaning and care is your department. My honest opinion is without any gratuitous payment. Their is only one problem Bluetooth can be hacked very easily. All your cell information is exposed. So turn off the Bluetooth and place in Tinnitus mode until your surroundings are less accessible to the 7 sec. hack. I hope this has helped you succeed in your brave new world. Enjoy.

Battery indicator not accurate and changes randomly. When battery level is at 90%, app shows “yellow “ battery color. 90%- why not green? Also, batteries show different levels. Left hearing aid will show 80-90% but right one shows 20% then it quickly dies. Sound exposure graph data seldom shows any activity even though the hearing aids or worn a minimum of 15 to 18 hours a day. Not sure what sound this is supposed to be tracking but doesn’t seem consistent (doesn’t pick up TV or normal household sounds. The lack of instructions either on the web or with the product don’t help to use it effectively, and from what I can determine, local offices don’t get much help with that either.

The app is good for volume adjustments. However other features are eratic. The sound exposure seem to only work with phone 2 feet or less from body. Battery levels seem to be very general, showing half and then 10 minutes later empty. But I do know that is very difficult to Show accurately. Some things show up at times then disappear. Such as when checking battery a bar show and saying sound level is too high to adjust before viewing. This bar only shows then and Cannot repeat .

Needs a good technician to come in and do a major update. These hearing aids cost a lot of money Good to have an app but needs to be more improved. I get 3 volume setting to here my phone ring. They work well but I need a sound added when I get a text. Every thing associated with app should at least match a-smart phone a little bit more. I go to accessories in the app and there is nothing there. Also my grand kid does a face time and it is hard to put it on speaker so wife wife can join us. I went to an apple store and the head man said they could not help so I sent the company a text to see if they could make a decent, practical, workable app for us that have hearing problems. I rate this app in the 1 zone but I am hopping that you get it updated soon.
