Could be great

Basically, what I was searching for is an an app to allow me to compose my own music ideas with my voice. What’s missing from this app is first of all a drone note (at least at count in) so you can choose the root note of the key you wish to sing in… and sing in tune. Otherwise, how does it know? Answer: it doesn’t, and never gets it right. It takes my melody and turns it into chords… I want my melody to be my melody… I want the option of choosing the chord progression by humming the root note during a second ‘rhythm’ pass. Then I would like to record the bass line with s third pass, while listening to the music created during first two… Etc. This app dumbs everything down and therefore comes up with a very horrible sounding MIDI creation based only on the initial Melody, and it is never what I had envisioned in my mind. What could be a powerful app to get musical ideas down is nothing but a toy that offers no such control... hope you figure it out!

This is a great idea. But it’s not working yet. My suggestion is to not let the music come out so polished!! Your app is trying to do way too much. If I Hum a bass line all I want to hear after, is that bass line. That’s it. Then I can Edit using your tools. Or I can add chords afterwards. Instead what came out was this completely polished song that sounded ridiculously bad. Let it stay RAW and organic. Otherwise your app is actually reading into this too much into it and killing my initial seed of an idea. We don’t need you to complete this song. We need you to help us hear the sound in our imagination (document it accurately) which will then help us decide if we should keep exploring it and what to add next. This would also be a great capturing tool if you, again, let it capture our humming accurately into simple notes.

I think it’s a very interesting concept and I was hoping that there was something like this that I could look up on the Internet. The problem is that most of the songs that I hum seem to go to high or too low and the thing does not seem to pick it up. I don’t know how to fix it, And I’m pretty sure there’s not even a way I can fix it. Another problem is that it does not seem to be able to hold onto Notes, so if a song has a note going for a longer period of time, it doesn’t seem to work. Is there anyway to fix this problem? - Kindest regards, Gabriel Valentine

Guys! Please, this could be brilliant! It almost is. But even in a completely silent room, there’s extra notes added in for zero reason. So many that I can’t even really muddle through what belongs and what doesn’t. If I get close enough to what I need and go to export it (I don’t even know where it could be exported), the app just sits there... circling... endlessly. I’d like to try the vocal recording mode, it’s still circling, doing nothing. This is an amazing concept, please please please fix it!
