Install Bosch Connected Control app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Bosch Connected Control on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Bosch Connected Control"
- The search will reveal the Bosch Connected Control app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Bosch Connected Control is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Bosch Connected Control.
- Now enjoy Bosch Connected Control on PC.

Loses WiFi credentials

I had to reconnect this thermostat several times. It loses the login credentials for the wireless access point.
Another problem is that the mobile app only offers a subset of the features available at the touchscreen interface. For example, I cannot remotely view the runtime on the device, and therefor would not be able to determine if there was a heating or cooling problem causing excessive runtime. Other thermostats do not have this problem. Will be returning it.

I have 2 BCC100 thermostats and the app works perfectly in controlling them inside the house and when outside/away from the house.
Only complaint is I wish the app and the thermostat worked with Apple HomeKit and Google home, etc. maybe one day.

Too glitchy

This is hands down the glitchiest app I have ever used in my life. Every so often, which is too often, the app says “device offline”, which is incorrect. Wall unit shows full WiFi connection. I don’t know if this is due to some sort of maintenance on the app’s side (I doubt it), but it’s very annoying and unacceptable. I’ve put up with these monthly “device offline” moments for over a year. Time to dump this thing in the trash and buy a Nest.

No iPad / landscape view support

Would be okay if it had decent support for iPad (i.e. landscape/horizontal) view. This is unfortunate because one of the major reasons for owning a Smart Thermostat is to have these extra features, such as full graphic support on mobile devices! And what a simple feature to add! Why not have it? I’m passing up the the app thermostat and getting one that works in the 21st century. It’s really too bad.
