1. Please note: the Outdoor mode in Waypoint EDU requires a device with GPS+Cellular to play, though non-cellular devices can be used to create.

5. • A game of Waypoint EDU is a great reason for teachers to take their classes outside.

6. Students can learn about ancient wonders of the world like Stonehenge and the Pyramid of Giza and groundbreaking inventions like the telephone and the lightbulb via scale-model AR.

7. • Setting up a Hunt is very simple – enter a few details, draw a Playfield directly on the map, and enter quiz questions for your curriculum.

8. • Teachers can transfer Hunts to student devices using AirDrop.

9. Indoor mode requires iOS 11.3 or later.

Install Waypoint EDU app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Waypoint EDU on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Waypoint EDU"
The search will reveal the Waypoint EDU app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Waypoint EDU is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Waypoint EDU.
Now enjoy Waypoint EDU on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Waypoint EDU Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Waypoint EDU,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Waypoint EDU" » then Click "Install".
- Waypoint EDU will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Fun way to get your kids OUTSIDE!

As a parent, I’m always looking for ways to get my children out and about, to burn off their energy and get their minds going, and this app does just that! My daughter and son had a great time finding the different waypoints and then using what they’ve learned in school to answer the quiz questions. I like that the app requires parent (or teacher) involvement in creating the playfield and selecting the waypoints, and even gives us the option to set up our own hunt. My kids have already given me ideas on what they want to see for their next hunt! I will definitely be sharing this app with their teachers!

As an educator, I would love to use this. However, I would like to see track the students progress. Some kind of a sign in and a way to show the progress of the students from question to question.
