Needs Work — Fails to Recognize Valid Data Plans

This relatively new app for the iPhone seems intended to be a replacement for the the app TV app in time. However, it has a major programming flaw that needs to be fixed. The app’s check routine hits a relational database that fails to list all legacy data plans as valid. On login with a strong the app data signal and WiFi off, it says “we were unable to validate if your device is on the app network” and blocks me. I’ve had the same the app plan with unlimited data since 2012 over five sequential iPhones. The the app TV app has worked fine on the previous four. Let’s get it fixed, the app. I’ve been with you for 19 years and you’re better than this.

Another poor performance App designed by the app. It’s sad to say but I would recommend that people avoid until designer does some fine-tuning.

I don't see any reason to get this app. There was one single show that was free and it was a random show I'd never heard of. They have short clips and music videos that I can easily watch on YouTube or other apps for free. You subscribe (for about $5 a month) to a category to be allowed to watch a set of shows. They should make this clear in the description of the app. No benefit to me as a the app customer to use this app. -4 stars for misleading me and wasting my time downloading this app. 1 star because the sign in feature is pretty nifty- I just turned on my Wi-Fi for a minute and then the app was able to recognize me as a the app customer and sign me in.
