Download and install the Trips by Lonely Planet app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Trips by Lonely Planet on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Trips by Lonely Planet"
- The search will reveal the Trips by Lonely Planet app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Trips by Lonely Planet is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Trips by Lonely Planet.
- Now enjoy Trips by Lonely Planet on PC.

Essential travel app that needs some fine tuning

this app is a must if you want to make the most of your stay or if your are looking for your next trip. It gives you the chance to explore a destination beforehand and advices you what to visit. All this is done in clear and beautiful posts from people all over the world.
The use of pictures in combination with the short pieces of text make it appealing and easy to read.
The only remark I currently have is that the search function is not working very well. It is rather hard to find articles of a certain destination. I would like this to be fixed in order to enjoy this essential app even more.

Really liking this app. I haven’t been able to get off it for the past few days. I’m more of a photographer and don’t really blog, but this app makes it so easy to create things that I can’t help but document my adventures. Based on previous reviews it’s worked out all it’s kinks. Really curious to see if this app is available on other platforms to increase reach on articles.

Although we're only in Highschool, and we don't have the money, we plan to be posting a ton when we start to travel far

I used the Lonely Planet book in China and it was phenomenal, 99% of the time it answered my questions, but the app wasn’t too helpful. I’m going on a trip to Quebec City with my girlfriend and I was hoping I could get an extra insight but it was useless for Quebec City. The interface was beautiful, but the search button is why I gave it three stars.
