Software Features and Description

1. - While drawing your melody you will see which chords correspond to the specific steps and also which notes of the grid match the notes of the chords.

2. - When you draw the arpeggio you are not specifying absolute notes but relative steps of the chords.

3. - Melodies are edited in their own grid, which also has length and rate params as the arpeggio grid.

4. - Melody grid features the same collection of drawing tool as the arpeggio grid does.

5. - The chord selector will show you which chords are matching the selected scale.

6. - You can also set a loop region as in the arpeggio grid view.

7. - Specify the length and rate of the arpeggio grid.

8. - Move chords around within chord progression using drag and drop gestures.

9. When played, the pattern will be translated to the absolute notes depending on the currently played chord.

10. - Create chord progression of any length using intuitive chord selector.

11. - Set Loop region to repeatedly play only the selected section of your arpeggio.

Install ChordFlow app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using ChordFlow on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ChordFlow"
The search will reveal the ChordFlow app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once ChordFlow is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ChordFlow.
Now enjoy ChordFlow on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use ChordFlow,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "ChordFlow" » then Click "Install".
- ChordFlow will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This app is a joy to use, whether you want to quickly sketch out an idea, or carefully compose a full song. I can happily spend hours on it. The examples that come preloaded with the app make it really easy to get started. It may be my imagination, but I am noticing some annoying little quirks like occasional tone and volume inconsistencies after the addition of the multi-timbral sound engine. I would also like it if in arpeggio mode, there was a way to check what the available notes are at any given time. Using that mode sometimes feels like trial and error. Being able to see the notes would make chord selection easier. Addressing these two issues would bring the app back to 5 stars for me.

I understand basic music theory but my understanding of the theory behind chord progressions is limited. My limited understanding is that staying within a key can be musically limiting. I’ve been on the hunt for an app that allow you to put together progressions in a less limited, flexible way. this app provides an attractive, flexible, intuitive interface for sketching interesting chord progressions
Great composition tool

This app is a great composition tool. Great for creating songs based on chord progressions. This update improves the sound quality of the internal MIDI player. I like the fact that it supports MIDI file export as well as its own custom file format. I am hoping that it will eventually be able to open/import its own MIDI files for a complete round trip.

This has been a go to app for new in my workflow. I love how simple it is to get a chord progression going and then tinker with the arrangement by drawing on the screen. Very creative! The AudioBus 3 MIDI features open up all kinds of options for sounds, and I love that the app is universal so I can compose on the go with my iPhone. Highly recommended.
