Rice pad
By Rice pad (Pcmac user)
After I felt comfortable using the app, it was easier to follow the directions. I’m wondering if the clarity of photos taken using the app are as needed for proper assessment of damage. I kept getting ‘photo is blurry’ so I would try again. I finally sent pics from my photo library. Thirty seconds is not enough time to verbally report damage. My last recording was rushed and I was quite annoyed. Being able to type in the ‘damage’ report area was an option to clarify the video information. That was very satisfactory. A 4* rating is because of the 30 second video time and the ‘photo is blurry’ response given frequently.

Nice, efficient app!

I have never had the opportunity to use an app for an accident. This app explains exactly what it needs to move to the next stage. There are required photos that are needed for each claim, but there is room to add more detailed photos and/or video as an option. It gives space to explain the damage as one sees it as another option at the end. Press the button and the data is transmitted. Done! Easy!
This is the way to go. No need for an adjuster to come out, or waste the “victim’s” time running around trying to find a collision center with time to estimate the damage on your schedule. This can be done so easily at your own home, in or out of the garage; and naked if necessary. 😂

Not fully functional
By Dullvj (Pcmac user)
I am not sure how appraisers work so I can’t tell if it helps them or not. Using the app, I took pictures of what they asked, but was not able to figure out how they were going to help the adjuster. I hit a deer—a lot of the damage was from broken brackets and plastic pieces under the hood—I DID send them my own pictures, but they didn’t ask for them. I got back an estimate (that I can’t print or share). It doesn’t have ANY of the under-the-hood pieces on it, so obviously the adjuster either didn’t look at them or didn’t understand what they were seeing. My biggest complaint is that the app won’t let me pull the estimate off the screen. It says it’s a PDF, but I am stuck scrolling up and down, back and forth through a 10-page document with and IPhone 6....🤨

Don’t Like It
By Mermesa (Pcmac user)
I’m old and I’m used to having an agent come see my car, take pictures and pretty much do what I pay insurance FOR. This app kept saying my pictures were blurry. I only have my phone camera. I must have taken each picture ten times before I ignored the messsage and just clicked accept. It does NOT allow you to upload pictures from your phone already taken of the damage which is stupid. It also asks for a video. There are no instructions as to whether you are supposed to SAY anything as you take the video. It also only allows a few seconds. Since the damage to my car extended across the whole frontI found I had to hurry to go from one side to the other. It does what my insurance company requires so I have it two stars. But I do not like the app.
