Download and install the HitchHiker app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using HitchHiker on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "HitchHiker"
- The search will reveal the HitchHiker app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once HitchHiker is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including HitchHiker.
- Now enjoy HitchHiker on PC.
- Using HitchHiker on Mac OS:
Install HitchHiker on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.
How to download and use HitchHiker App on Windows 11
To get HitchHiker on Windows 11, check if there's a native HitchHiker Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing HitchHiker:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "HitchHiker" » Click "Install" to install HitchHiker
- HitchHiker will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Great Idea, Paranoid Developers

The app developers are so worried that people will make deals outside the app that they’ve stopped the feature which lets you send pictures before paying.
All that really does is force us to communicate outside the app. Tried to convey this to customer service but their responses were annoying and unhelpful.
To add to all this lately payments wont go through and I’ve used my card in other places and other websites and it works fine. I’ve even called my bank per this app’s instructions and the bank told me it was a network error on Hitchhikers side.
Honestly time is of the essence and they do nothing to help. Very frustrating.

Not recommended at all for travelers

I’ve just started using the service for couple of my trips and their customer support is nothing less than useless.
They put your money on hold until all the trip shipments get completed. One of my shipments didn’t arrive on time and I’ve agreed with the shipper on returning it back and we both communicated that to Hitchiker. They responded that the shipment has been removed and it’s resolved. Until today my shipments are on hold despite reaching out to them 4 times on 6 days with no response!

Great idea but poor software

The idea is amazing for me to send my stuff and also make money when I travel. The bad side is the software especially when it comes to the messages notifications and generally the communication part; this shortage is becoming better by time but hopefully it would become as good as WhatsApp:D

Thieves and unprofessional crew!

They have a too baaaaaaad customer service! They don’t answer if any thing bad happened! I paid for a traveller 62$ but we didn’t complete the deal and I asked the app for a refund, but they refund only 48$! After more than a month!! And I’m trying to talk with them and I sent an email and called there number but I got no answer! Really Too bad experience
