Once Qazaq App is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Qazaq App.

Simple vocab and phrase lists only

I was initially very excited to find this app. An avid user of Duolingo and needing to learn some Kazakh rather quickly, I was so happy to start lessons. Unfortunately, this app is nothing but lists of vocabulary and basic, short phrases. No context, no grammar, nothing but endless memorizing, no challenge. Even the verbs are just the basic infinitives with no variation in person, tense, or case endings. A bit useful, but moved away quickly after getting very bored. Meh.
App doesn’t work

The bug which causes the app to not work still exists and it has affected me again. I had to delete the app because of it. 🙄😭 Please fix the bug! Once I downloaded the app again, it took forever to load, only to crash every single time.

I hate to leave a bad review, but I cannot use this app as it gets stuck loading and I cannot use it. I’d love to try it, so I hope this is fixed soon!

I grew very excited to find this app for learning Kazakh. It looked very much like the Duolingo app which I enjoy very much. I saw it was in Russian but also supported English in the App Store and downloaded it. When I opened it, I grew more excited to see this app supports English, as my Russian is not very good. However, my excitement quickly faded as I tried to make an account. Every time I tried to make an account, the app told me after a while "Could not connect to the server." I thought my Disconnect VPN was messing with the connection so I turned it off, rebooted my phone, and tried again. Nothing. I tried it on LTE. Nothing. I noticed the fields in the signup page were out of order, so I tried filling in the forms in the iOS form navigator's order. Nothing. I think this app's servers are down, because when I pressed "Later," I was taken to the actual part where learning gets done. However, it told me once more "Could not connect to server." When the loading finished, the learning portion was empty. I decided to contact support. I pulled out my English-Russian dictionary, and my scrappy knowledge of Russian to write an email to the makers of these app. I sent the email at 4:01 PM EST. As of the same day at 11:20 PM EST no response, which is pretty expected, given these people are in Kazakhstan, meaning I may receive a response around noon tomorrow. I will update my review when Support responds, or a week passes with no response, whichever comes first. This app has potential, and I would love to see it in full force. Update: No response from support. I don't think I'm gonna get a response, maybe I'll use my best Russian and call them. Update 2: No response after two weeks. My rating is now 1 star. Update 3: App works again! And it's even better than I expected! 5 stars!
