To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Seaboard 5D,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Seaboard 5D" » then Click "Install".
- Seaboard 5D will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Very limited and disappointing

The ROLI the app is an amazing instrument, but unfortunately this app has so many limitations that I can’t call it anything but a toy. People have been complaining about the very same set of issues for years, but ROLI hasn’t been doing anything about it, hence my 1 star. Issues that still exist from 2 years ago: - There’s no way to change effects on the voice packs (free or paid). All the voices are full of reverb and other effects. - No inter-app or Audiobus support. The only way to use the full power of the the app is by using this app, but unfortunately it doesn’t integrate with any other app. - If you buy a sound pack here, you can’t reuse it on Noise. You have to buy again. I don’t understand why one has to login using a ROLI account if that doesn’t serve any purpose. That’s ridiculous. Other issues include: - Login/password field doesn’t work with the iOS password manager (or any other). This is minor bu very annoying since all my password are generated. - In general the UI does not feel native... Scrolling is weird, there’s no way to search for voice packs (when you buy all the packs it gets though). - No background sound support. If you need to take a sheet music to play a song it stops working. This is not an inexpensive instrument, so I don’t expect accompanying apps to be that cheap. If money is the problem, just charge an in-app purchase to unlock advanced features, but do something to make this app decent.

First of all, it is nice to be able to mess around with the the app without having to use laptop. But so far, this app serves only as a demonstration of the the app rather than a tool to empower the app and make music. Below are my suggestions to improve the usability of this app: 1. The effects library should be easier to navigate. Finding the effect that I want is a very painful process especially after I bought the add on effects. Effects should as least shown in category like the way they are shown in the Equator library. 2. Inter app support. GarageBand has the ability to play and record music from third party apps, and this app is, disappointingly, not utilizing this function. 3. Bluetooth headphones latency. Other apps, like the MusicStudio, has no noticeable latency when using Bluetooth headphones, in my case, the AirPods. GarageBand has noticeable but acceptable latency with AirPods. And the latency in this app is too noticeable even without connecting to the the app. 4. The ability of effect customization, as other reviews mentioned. 5. The ability to import effects from the Equator and use them in the app. iPad and iPhone are getting way more powerful that they are replacing laptops to some degree. Since the the app Rise has the Bluetooth feature and intends to let users make music on the go, the mobile platform should really follow up the pace.

This app would be great, if it weren't for one fatal flaw: No inter-app audio support. This severely limits the capabilities of the app. Inter-app audio support is the feature I NEED, but having said that, I also have a few WANTS: First, it would be great if I could import an Equator patch into the app. I haven't even bought the Equator synth yet, because the prospect of having to connect to a computer every time I want to play my own custom patches does not appeal to me. Second, I want the ability to edit the presets! Some of the patches that come with the app are awash in reverb/delay, and I can't do anything to change them. This limitation, on top of no inter-app audio, practically reduces the app to a toy. Finally, this app should be integrated with Noise. Meaning, if I buy a sound pack here, I can also download it from the Noise app with no additional charge. As it stands now, I basically have to buy the same sounds twice. That doesn't make sense. Having said all that, I still think the app deserves four stars. It is FREE, after all. However, I would pay a pretty penny for the features listed above. Make it happen, Roli.
Favorite App, Apple 🙏 keep 3D Touch on iOS!!

This is my favorite App! Was at Apple store tonight showing it to sales people who all wanted to put it in those phones too. I bought all the sounds as well and love them. I bought a new XS Max just because I heard it was the last device with real 3D Touch!! Makes a big difference! Tried on XR... not as cool 😎 without real pressure. I really hope Apple keeps 3D Touch working on iOS for those that bought products because of this feature! Wish 3D Touch was on iPad pros! Hope ROLI will add audio/midi connectivity so I can use this with Equator on Laptops or Garageband... Can I?
