  • Effective app up until the recent update v.4.4.1

    By Nitwndr (Pcmac user)

The app is simple, yet very good at blocking robo calls. I have been using it for a couple of months. It definitely worked for me for long time up until the recent update v.4.4.1, where the app just fail apart. One of the prefix extension (the app -1) can never be enabled, it just gives you an endless spinning wheel that never goes away. Tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, nothing seems to fix. Prefix extension still shows that spinning wheel. Worst thing about it is, while that prefix extension is still trying to enable itself, the app won’t let you add any numbers to block even if you enabled all the other 24 extensions; instead, it gives you an error message telling you to wait until that one prefix extension is enabled. It’s a shame that nothing seems to get it to work; it was actually good when it works. Update: Worked with the developer on troubleshooting the issue with my app. Happy to say the app is now in perfect working condition. Thanks Valerii for your support.
  • Actually works. Robot protection.

    By Happy crossworder (Pcmac user)

The robocalls were out of control. Two, three times a day the robots would call. Did I want to redeem my reward points? No. Did I want a better auto insurance rate? Go away! Could I give them my social security number to prove I had paid off non-existent IRS debts? Argh! I had to reclaim my phone. I considered changing phone numbers. That would show them! But these are robots. They are inherently smarter. Capable of placing unlimited calls from any imaginable callback number. At first I tried blocking them all. But the math was against me. With 10,000 phone numbers with my same prefix, what could I do?? I turned to the web, where I found fellow humans with the same problem. Reading their reviews of this app I was convinced that this was truly a defense against the robocalls. It occurred to me that the app could be a plot deployed by the robots to get me only further ensnared in their trap. But the reviews seemed genuine, laced with nihilistic humor only humans would understand. But the app seemed too good to be true. $3 for a lifetime protection from robocalls? I figured it was worth the risk. Now, two weeks into my purchase and I couldn’t be happier. The calls are as if they never happen. I track my calls in the att call protect app, so I can see that the robots are trying. But this app does its job. The calls are screened without my being aware of them at all. We are safe, in part, from the robots. Thank you developers.
  • This app doesn't stop all calls, please read my review

    By Kardorost (Pcmac user)

Update: Still getting a few spam calls per week but Im more satisfied now-less spam calls recently. Reply to developer's response: When I disable the app, spam calls from 857 prefix begins. When I enable the app, I receive much less spam calls from 857, but I start getting much more spam calls from 800, 866, 833, 212 and more prefixes. I don't have any other blockers app on my iPhone. This clearly and obviously is a drawback/fault in your app. I don't know why/how this is happening, you're the pro. I'm using iOS 12.2 on iPhone 6S plus, and no, I dont want to upgrade my iOS. Original Review: I stopped receiving calls starting with the 3-number I entered for a couple of days. Then after a few days I started getting spam calls not from that 3-number that I blocked, but also from many other phone numbers from other states. This app is definitely a scam, be aware. I removed the extensions and Im asking for a refund.
  • You one star people...

    By Prettybirdprettybird (Pcmac user)

I have to guess that maybe you are forgetting to let app reload extensions as it directs you to at top and by overlooking that, you think it has stopped working but you have maybe overlooked one of the two things the user must do to allow the app to do the job you direct it to. If you see this... and realize this, hopefully you give the app credit and appropriate rating because this app needs to stick around - it let me allow my phone to ring again when i get a call - prior to this i was forced to keep it silent which led to additional annoyance (beyond robo-stalkers themselves and their invasion) of phone tag or missing calls in general that i would like to have had opportunity to answer which robo-scum out there just impossible, i had to silence phone always.
