Not great

I haven’t yet found a weather app that combines at least near-accuracy with usefulness, but after trying this one for several months, this isn’t it. Today’s weather is often yesterday’s, claiming to be today )it’s Tuesday now, but it shows Monday as today). The mini summary (such as ‘cloudy with a chance of...’) is cut off after just a few letters, with no way to click on it to actually read it. Its summary descriptions vary unaccountably (-5 is ‘frigid’ sometimes, merely ‘very cold’ others). The hourly forecast for Today is good, and very useful (especially when Today actually IS today), but that feature isn’t available for even one day in the future. So I guess I’ll keep looking for a weather app... One more complaint: finding a nickname that hasn’t been chosen already is extraordinarily difficult (I’ve just tried about 20, including in foreign languages!), leaving me to wonder whether the developer really wants reviews...
Solid, Reliable Software

I changed apps when the apple Weather app started loading without current temperature or forecasts. I tried a couple other apps, but this one is simple and solid. Adds are unobtrusive if they are there, and I’ve had no loading problems. I generally use the hour-to-hour and 5 day forecast. Weather being what it is in PNW, it’s not perfectly accurate. Honestly I’d be freaked out if it was always right! Weather prediction is still an art *and* science profession.
Hard to read

This app has a lot of good features, but they don’t do me a lot of good because the color scheme makes it hard to read. I’m in my 40’s and only need glasses for reading small print, yet I have to pull them out to read this app and even then have a hard time with the temperatures in the green bubbles. Also, I don’t like to leave my location on my phone or individual apps for privacy/security, so every time I open this app it gives me pop ups telling me to add my location. I have already input what city I want weather for so that should be enough. I plan to delete this app and find another. I really liked google’s weather app, but switched to an iPhone and can’t seem to get it.

Two problems but rest is great. Problems: Every time I open the app it ask to add my city which is already displayed and the weather map won’t open. Very disappointing because the rest of the app appears very nice. The color combination plays a huge role in apps to be able to easily see functions without everything jumbled together. This app has a very good color combination. Some apps has the 5 day for cast going across the screen so you have to scroll. This app has the forecast going down the length of the screen so you don’t have to scroll. This is another good point in this app. Just needs to fix the two problem previously mentioned.
